Darcy sat at a litte two seater table over in one of the more elegant corners of the cafe, even though she was here alone. You'll never know when an unexpected person shows up and brightens your day. At least thats what Darcy believed. She watched the various activity with her brilliant hazel brown eyes, looking at the people head to toe, just trying to Imagine their personalities and other things of that sort. That's the kind of girl Darcy was, very observant, always noticing things. She took a bite of her Cinnamon roll and swallowed it daintilly. She looked at her maroon mug filled with Vanilla Coffey, it was still pipping hot. She sighed and rester her head on her hands. She was wearing a pair of slim fit jeans with a yellow tank top with a yellow, blue and dark read plaid thing over the top. It was chilly outside so she wore a light blue purse over that.As always she was touting around her over sized lime green bag.

Ryan was bored, and anywhere was better than sitting around his house listening to his two sisters bitch about how bad their hair looked. Much as he loved them, they really did get annoying sometimes. Today was one of the only days when he had nothing to do. He and the guys were planning to go do something, probably an expensive paintball war, tomorrow.
Ryan was outfitted in a faded black Lacoste polo, frayed around the collar and at the hem. His hair was a complete mess, and he had a tiny smear of dirt near his ear. Who knew what it was from. His eyes were glinting, as always, without that dull lacquer he got when he was bored. Tomorrow was exciting him enough to make him in a pretty good mood. On his bottom half wear dark wash Diesel jeans, unintentionally ripped on the knees.
He drove his own black Cadillac SUV over to the Tritoni Cafe. Their coffee was good, and the seats were comfortable. He liked to just sit... and people-watch, thinking about nothing at all. He found a rare parking space on the sidewalk, thinking that today was a good day if his SUV could actually fit somewhere without having to search upward of a half hour for a spot.
Ryan entered, running a hand through his hair uneasily as he spotted a pretty girl sitting in one of the chairs. Her outfit was colorful and her eyes were big and brown. He was generally a sucker for the brunettes, just to stare at. He wasn't good at the whole small talk thing... or any talk at all with the opposite sex. He walked quickly up to the counter and ordered a black coffee, taking a seat at a table farthest from the girl.
Daredevil.

Darcy watched the new person come in and smiled. He was pretty cute. All right he was down right sexy. He saw him looking at her so she smiled and waved at him. What a friendly girl that Darcy was. Since she finished her Cinnamon roll she causally walked over to him with her coffee and said "Is anyone sitting here?" while pointing to the other seat. Her smile was evident because her teeth gleamed with all of there whiteness.

He looked up at her, rather confused. Didn't she see that he wasn't actually into the whole conversation thing? If they could just skip past all the introductions, life would be so much easier. Meeting people was a drag, especially girls. He knew he was pretty much alone in thinking this, because as long as other guys had a nice chest in front of them, nice legs to look at, and perhaps a tiny bit of intelligence, they were fine.
Not Ryan.
"Um." He said, looking at his feet, a blush crawling across his face. Fuck, he probably resembled a tomato. Just great. Just wonderful. "Yeah?" He looked up at her again, wondering what else to say. If he sipped his coffee he'd probably spill it, so he chose to look at his shoes--Allen Iverson signature Nikes--again.

Darcy smiled at sat down while taking a gulp of her Vanilla coffee. "I'm Darcy by the way. I never seen you before...what's your name?" she asked. Meeting people. One of Darcy's favorite pastimes. especially if they were cute boys. She put one leg over the other and put her elbows on the table and her hands on her head "I love this place don't you? All of the people are so different."

"Ryan. Ryan Harrows." Ack, shit, now he sounded like some pretentious James Bond wannabe bastard with a major stick up his ass.
She loved this place. Interesting observation for someone he had just met, and how the fuck was he supposed to respond? To give himself thinking time, he sipped his coffee, trying to place a thoughtful expression upon his features. He swilled the near-burning liquid around in his mouth. Nothing came. He drew a blank.
"Um. Yeah. This place is..." Adjective, adjective, adjective. "Pretty sweet? I guess." Oh. Now he sounded mentally retarded. Wonderful. Exactly the way he wanted to come off to the pretty girl sitting in front of him. Exactly.

Darcy smiled her little sweet smile and said "Pretty sweet huh?" She pushed her brown hair back out of her face "Well Ryan I think it's pretty sweet too." She then took one more sip of her coffee before saying "So, how old are you?"
She didn't want to come off as a stalker or anything but people were her thing and asking them things was her game. Thats why she had over 100 useless numbers in her phone. They were all random people that she had met over time. To say the least she was quite the social butterfly.

Just as her text to Darcy said, she was stopping by the cafe to say hi. And it didn't hurt that Heather's secret crush Ryan was sitting with her...
Today Heather's bodacious body adorned her favorite pair of dark wash Rock and Republic jeans along with a low cut long emerald green sweater that matched her eyes. Most girls in this city think that Heather had some work done on her rack, but fuck you ladies, because those are all real. Today she wore a comfortable pair of black no-lace Converse low tops. Not the usual stiletto pumps she adorned.
She sauntered up to her friend and crush and smiled, "Hey Darce, mind if I join? I hope I'm not interrupting anything." She hoped her friend wouldn't be mad, it's just, who can resist? She turned towards Ryan and smiled, "Hey, Ryan. You remember me don't you? I think we've seen each other around. I'm Heather von Trampp."

He attempted a smile at Darcy. This was getting easier for him, as the conversation was progressing and she wasn't flirting as wildly as many other girls did. "Me? Oh. Me. I'm eighteen, a senior." He said, taking another sip of his coffee, leaning back, and running a hand through his hair. Ryan always had to be moving in some small way. It kind of kept his energy in one place, or perhaps the other way around.
He watched Heather enter, pulling the door open as if she owned the world in an emerald green sweater. His sisters would not have liked that--they would have said that with her blond hair, she should be wearing black, dark red, burgundy, or some other color name that sounded like a vegetable. Burgundy. Ugh. Not that Ryan cared--matching or anything fashion was not his thing. "Oh, uh, yeah. I remember you." Hard not to... God. Nice rack. He had hormones, dammit--he didn't not notice, he just chose not to stare. "You can sit if you want to."

Heather's smile grew big. She pulled over a mocha color chair and sat down. She flashed an apologetic smile at Darcy, "Thanks, Ryan." Her hair was worn in a curly coiffee today, her sideswept bangs softly resting right above her green eyes. This guy was perfection in Diesel jeans, and he didn't realize that she wanted him so badly. "Did you get my voicemail, Ryan? I left you one after I left that Black-on-black party."

Darcy smiled at Heather and said "Long time no see!" She wasn't really mad that Heather interrupted her conversation with Ryan. It was just that Heather did have a way of stealing guys from her just because of her over-sized rack. Courtney looked down at her own simple C-cup and sighed.
That green monster was sinking in on her again. She wouldn't let it take over her though. She never did. One of these days she was going to crack though. Just not today. "I just turned 18" she said to Ryan. She still lived with her workaholic Mom and her cheating Dad. "Senior." she started clearly.
She looked down at her maroon mug there was only a couple sips left. She drunk it all in one gulp then said "Well, I've had my caffeine fix for the day."

Ryan almost laughed. It was kind of funny how both of these girls wanted him. He was aware of that, but he wasn't going to let on. A pink blush crept to his cheeks again. Who ever said it felt good to be gorgeous? If you were, awkward moments were almost necessary.
"Yeah, I got the voicemail. Sorry, I--er--don't charge my phone that much." It was true. He never used his cell phone, however much that made his father and sister's angry when they need to reach him. Technology was kind of hated, unless it was paintball guns or really good plasma T.V.'s, preferably with the television series 24 on it. That was the only one he could stand to sit down and watch.

"Yea, it has been." Heather felt that Darcy was always a bit jealous of her because of her large chest, but it never really phased her since it wasn't her fault. They just well...came up over one summer in 9th grade.
Darcy was always a huge flirt with the guys and always acted so innocent and sweet but we all knew what was lurking inside of her, a huge ass bitch. But that's alright, Heather wasn't a perfect angel either.
She returned a smile to Darcy and leaned back in the chair, crossing her long legs. She plopped her small brown Coach bag with the metallic gold "c"'s onto her lap. If this was going to be a fight over Ryan, she was lucky she wore her comfy shoes today because for a boy she liked...Heather would beat bitches up.
As for Ryan, well. He better watch out, because like Carmen said in the opera, "If I love you, you better watch out." She smiled sweetly at Ryan, "Good to hear, I was kind of worried you didn't get it."

Darcy sighed, she could tell that she wasn't going to win this one. She wasn't even going to bring up her voice message it was sooo embarrassing. She had just realized that she had stolen his number off of Heather cell phone. Ow.
Darcy looked back up at the group then said "So, /Ryan/ what are you interests?" she asked him trying to block out Heather but not make it noticeable that she was doing so. Darcy really did not want to get in a bitch fight today, they were to much work.

Heather gritted her teeth slightly as Darcy tried to direct attention away from her. She shrugged her shoulders and decided it was best she let Darcy embarass herself with the lame small talk.
She opened her Coach bag and pulled out a tube of her favorite dark pink, almost mauve, MAC Lipglass lipgloss and smeared it on her lips. As she put back her lipgloss she caught sight of her Sidekick and smiled to herself. She quickly texted Ryan, "Come over my house tonight. No parents. But lots of fun. =)" She sent it and put it back in her back, smiling at how easy it was. Thank you modern technology.
