Darcy hugged Daria but then said "I uh can you /please/ not smoke in front of me?" Darcy hated the smell of that foul scent. It annyoed the hell out of her and it was one of those few things that made the bitch that way was deep down inside come out.
Oh no! Did that make Darcy come out as stuck-up? Hopefully not. Geez why does this girl care so much about how people think of her?

O.O.C-posting as Adam
Adam looked at the girl strangley and gave her a funny look. Ok sure she looked nice. But did she say she was english? Because 'Ello' sounded more like australian? Adam had seen her before and she had said "ello mate!". This girl was either a fake or didn't know how to speak like a real english girl. He had a lot of friends from england and had been there more then once.
He grinned at her at her as she said "hi" in her "english accent" and ran his fingers through his spiked up hair. Why not look good when you have girls around? " Uh, Daria nice to meet you. Did you say you were english?"

Ryan smirked. His father was from London and so was his soccer coach. He knew what an authentic accent sounded like, and he also knew that Adam was making fun of Daria. It might be entertaining to see if she called him out on it.
He was confused by Darcy, though. One second she was all over him, and the next she was exactly the same with Adam? That wasn't exactly... what was the word? Classy? It was kind of desperate. At least, that was what his sister's would say.
"Hey, Daria. I'm Ryan Harrows." He sipped his coffee before standing up to shake her hand, blushing a bit and running a hand through his hair. Because there were so many people, this was either getting easier or more difficult--but his good manners still had him.

Darcy then one again turned her attention to Ryan. "Maybe I can watch you play sometime?" she asked him with a polite smile. She then pulled out her Tmobile Juicy side kick and handed it to Ryan. "Put in your number." she said as she fro the millionth time pushed her hair out of her face.
She then looked at Adam and said "You too, just in case we wanna hang out sometime." she then flashed the whole table a smile as she closed the super big lime green bag of hers.

"Uh. Yeah, sure, anytime." He took the wierd pink phone, reading the black emblazoned letters on it. Juicy... Couture? How would you pronounce that out loud? His sisters probably knew, but he had no idea. None at all. He still flipped it open, typing in his number, although his phone was hardly ever used.
And then she turned to Adam. Maybe being overly friendly was just her personality? Or did she want both of them? It was kind of slutty, not that he was going to make a big deal, because after all, he had just met her. He shrugged. "I guess I'm pretty good." The truth was that he was excellent at soccer, but he wasn't going to say it and look like a dickweed.

"Kay, good." She recrossed her legs towards Ryan, allowing her knee to touch his gently. "What time do you think soccer will be over?"
A beautiful english girl walked in. Daria. "Nice to meet you, Daria, I'm Heather von Trampp." The girl was very, Olivia-esque. It was scary how much she reminded her of her.

Daria looked over at Darcy and put the pack of ciggerettes back into her small purse. "Sorry Darcy I totally forgot you hated the smoke."
Her attention was suddenly pulled over to Adam. She noticed he was making fun of her accent, which was a true english accent. "I'm pretty sure I never said anything about me being english or not. How nice of you to notice." She smiled at him even though she knew he was really trying to call her out, but he didn't have much luck then that.
Daria looked up at the boy speaking now, Ryan. Smiling, she looked at his hand and reached her own to him, breifly shaking it before she pulled it back. "Nice to meet you Ryan." Then she looked over at the other girl sitting at the table who introudced herself as Heather. "Nice to meet you as well Heather."

Adam suddenly started laughing, no not the quick little quirky laugh of his but a real big laugh. He crouched down in his chair, his head bobbing up and down as if he was in water. Who did Daria think she was?
After his little laugh attack, he turned his attention back to Daria. Of course she thought she was cool enough to dismiss him and return talking to the other people at the table.
Between quick, short breaths he said. " Daria, who do you think the nurse was that helped your mom when she was having you. That was aunt Daria." Laughing he refraine dhis sentence so she could understand. " I knew you were from england because I was there when you were born, I saw you many times when we were growing up."
Daria, do you get it now, I know you are from england and I know that is definitely not a real english accent. Your parents have one though, I know that. Knowing that you speak like that you probably think the enlglish use euro as their currency wouldn't you."

Daria turned her head back over at Adam. What the hell was his problem? She watched him laugh for many minutes and bobbing his head like a fuckin idiot.
Listening to what he had to say she shook her head. "That's wonderful that you know who I am, but I don't care. Infact I lived in England until I turned 18, the day after my birthday I flew to New York. So for only a few months of living here, I've lived in England. Plus I don't even remember you."
Sitting comfortably back in her seat, Daria shook her head and wished she could light up the ciggerette. She did remember Adam, but only a slight bit. Why the hell was he picking on her, that's how she talked and that's how she always talked. Maybe being in New York did something to the accent, but there was not reason for him to be an ass.

Ryan watched with his eyebrow raised. This fight was gay. Adam was being a dickhead, but little Miss Brit was also being quite odd. He made a motion to sip his coffee, but it was gone. He cleared his throat loudly and fought the urge to roll his eyes at Darcy. This was getting boring.
"Um, so any of you going to that girl... Mercedes... yeah, are you going to her party?" He questioned, hoping to get off the topic of accents and Euros and nurses and onto something that was, even if it wasn't his scene, more interesting.

Darcy sighed, {Urg, to many people.} She thought. She got her phone back and slid it into her bag as she cautiously got up, making sure not to knock or hit anyone as she did.
She turned to Ryan and said "Uh yeah, I am actually." She then smiled at the group and said "Bye guys, I have to go home. I wasn't supposed to stay this long." She then waved to the group and slowly walked out of the cafe.

Daria looked around at everyone, and she could tell that they were bored by the pitty fight, if you can call it that, that her and Adam just had. No wonder.
When Darcy stood up, and waved to everyone, Daria stood up as well. "I'm leaving as well. Places to be. Bye everyone." Grabbing her htings she walked towards the exit, but turned around. "Oh and yeah I might goto Mercedes party." With that she finally pushed the door opened and walked out into the busy, cold, and snowy streets of New York City.

"Yea. I'm definitely going to Cede's party." Of course she was. She was on the a-list after all. And Cede was her newly decided best friend. It was her duty. And as if she was going to miss the party of the year. Well, at least the party of the month.
She waved goodbye politely at the girls and decided it was probably her turn to leave. "Alright, I'm going to cut out now. Ryan, don't forget my house tonight. You know my number if you get lost or something." With that she got up and left.
