Breathe.
Breathe.
The brunette quickly rushed to her door, opening it and getting inside. She pushed her back against the door, letting herself slide down to the floor. Tears rolled down her eyes as she tried to stay as quiet as possible. She bit her lower lip, looking at her wirsts. They were still red. She cried quietly, trying to sort her thoughts.
She still didn't believe it.
They were having such a good time, they always did. Until she did something stupid and screwed everything up. Olivia was the screw-up. She hated Jake so bad right now, but she loved him too. It was so confusing, how you could despise and love someone at the same time. He hadn't mant to her, she always told herself that. "He was just a bit drunk.." she told herself in a hushed voice, as Clover came running. She pet the small thing, smiling softly. "Hey, baby." she told the dog, as she felt her cellphone vibrate. She quicke picked it up and looked at the message.
It was from Jake.
Babe, I'm sorry.
Meet me at the park tomorrow?
ilu. Jake.
Even though a rational perosn would've delete the message and broken up with the jackass, Olivia wasn't thinking clearly. That is she smiled, tilting her head to the side. So maybe her Prince Charming wasn't as perfect as she thought, but he loved her, didn't her? Olivia sighed softly, knowing Ophelia was asleep, sound and safe, so she got up and headed for the bathroom. Opening the light, not a noise was heard. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, calmly and quietly. She got closer, looking at the mark on her cheek. Touching it softly, she winced. It still hurt. It always did. She ran both hands through her hair, taking a deep breath. Everything would be okay. She just.. She just had to find a good excuse and it would all dissapear. She felt a knot in her throat, uneasy and awkward. Was this really how it was suppose to be?
Was love suppose to hurt so much?
