So, yeah. Antony had, well, caught wind of a place that you could play DDR at, and of course. He just /had/ to come play. I mean, come on it was the one video game he could beat. Yeah, the only one he could do. His hair was combed down so that it covered his eyes, or it had until he had brushed it away so he could see the game better, so now, it was covering his left eye, as he watched two boys play the game. He wore, as to be expected a skin tight hot pink colored shirt. On it, in bright lime green letters was the word. GARAWR!!. Yes, he loved this shirt dearly. Before, he had gotten hot he had been wearing a tight jacket with Gir from invader Zim on it, cut in half by the zipper but put together once it was zipped up. He liked that jacket alot and with the hood up, he looked truly 'emo' but if you said that to his face, he'd probably kill you. There was, though, something new about him around his next was a necklace, nothing special but at the end it held a highschool ring. The kind you got when you graduated, but no, it didn't have his name on it, it held his fathers. On his legs, was a pair of girl jeans. Light washed with a small tear in the back pocket and right knee, held up by a rainbow colored belt. Yes, so what? The boy liked color, that wasn't a crime... But, who knew, it very well could be. On his feet. Were black Vans. The left shoe had lime green laces, and the right one had hot pink laces. Stepping back onto the pad he slipped the level down to standerd and let the other person pick the song.

Poking the half-empty cup of soda upon the table she was sitting at, Alex kept her light sky blue hued gaze focused on the dark liquid. Eric said he'd meet her there, but judging by his being forty minutes late, she figured he wouldn't be coming again. So why couldn't the douchebag had called her and told her something came up? Even a text mind you. Or was he afraid to break a nail sending a message? She so hated her brother sometimes. Might as well just head on home really. There was no use sitting around waiting for someone who had no inclination of showing up. Another part of her didn't want to go home though, not without at least enjoying her night. So that wasn't the true reason. Going home would just let her receive another speech from her mother about Shakespeare not being a friend, or something less creative than that. Decisions.
Pushing up from her seat with her cup of soda in hand, she wandered over to the Dance Dance Revolution area, where a group of people were surrounding those playing the game. She could never get on one of those things, mainly because she couldn't deal with too many people looking her way at once. Well, not outside of a speech or something similar. Plus, she doubted she had the moves required to complete a round of that thing efficiently. Not without looking like somebody on drugs. She hadn't tried of course, but it was just in her make-up to think harshly of her ability to do anything.
Her white tennies made not a sound on the ground as she moved, which was in fact a good thing. She didn't want to draw any attention to herself. Halting between two nicely dressed girls, she focused her attention on the dancing individuals, tucking an errant lock of blonde hair back into its low bun as she did so. Dropping her hand from her face, eyes lined thin with liner in the lower rims, she placed her fingers into the pocket of her white jacket, which was unzipped to reveal an ordinary black cami. She pursed her lips, briefly flitting her gaze to the entrance, making sure she hadn't missed her brother or something...

Panting Antony finished the song with a B and jumped over the bar in the back landing in front of the crowd and walking over to a girl that looked.. Well, to put it bluntly, bored, and like she was looking for something. "Hey"He said queitly rasing his hand he didn't look in her eyes, he didn't do that to anyone. He was to shy so he contented himself to focus on his shoes. He was unhappy that he was still breathless from the workout. He used to be in better shape, but he must have lost it.

Taking to looking behind herself upon being greeted, Alex figured this boy must be speaking to someone else. Had to be. It wasn't like she knew him or anything. Not seeing anyone in her directly behind herself, she settled her gaze upon him, noting that he was positioned in a manner so as to speak to her. But he was staring at the floor so... "Hi," she said finally, voice as quiet as his. Crossing her arms over her chest, she took a slow sip from her soda, wondering where to take the conversation...if it could be called that.
"I'm Alex," she introduced herself, stepping from one leg to the other. Removing her hand from the pocket of her jacket, she ran it over the thigh of her black jeans, as if drying it off. Gently pressing her lips together, she looked away from him, returning to watching the new people engaged in DDR. "You...play that game well," she added, a small smile absently placed on her lips. He raised his eyes and smiled. "I'm Antony, nice to meet you Alex"He said still quiet. He looked back at the game with her when he heard her words though he blushed and shrugged. He always blushed when someone said anything about his game play. "Really? You think so?"He asked looking back at her. He was modest. He wouldn't say he was good, and he didn't think he was. And couldn't see why anyone thought he was. But he'd still blush and ask.

Contemplating on whether or not he should move from his seated position, Cameron stared blankly at the people surrounding him. Some were off with their many tokens, playing games and receiving tickets in favor of wining. Some had been gorging down the pizza, whom’s aroma filled the entire arcade. Some others gather around the large DDR machines, fascinated by the high skill level that they players showed. Incredible? Maybe to some people, but to him...simply a waste of time. I mean, come one, the people who voluntarily placed themselves upon the machine to ‘show off’ must’ve spent a lot of time here. And by a lot, I mean a lot.
It was another night alone, well, for the most part at least. He had been here recently with his cousin, but that was what, an hour ago? His cousin had left him here alone, seeing as Cameron had drove himself here anyways. He was tired, about ready to leave anyways. He was seated near the DDR machines, watching the players and shaking his head slightly. It was almost...sad, but he gave them some sort of credit, after all, he wasn’t so much of a hater, he just had his opinions.
Dressed in his normal winter-time wear, a pair of jeans and a hoodie—the NYC one to be exact, Cameron finally decided he’d get his lazy self up and leave. Well, maybe not. Cameron stayed still. He was so lazy this time of year and it was quite frightening. Funny thing was—he woke up so very early. Maybe if he’d find someone to talk to, he wouldn’t have to leave. And maybe that was his problem. Maybe all he really needed was some good social skills, some friends? It was worth a shot anyways...

"Ditto," Alexis murmured. "Mmhm. I really do think so. And definitely way better than I ever could if I ever decided to attempt it." That was as much praise as anybody could get out of Alex, if they weren't a close friend at least. She just couldn't always find the words when talking to a stranger. "So never seen you around before Anthony. You new in town? Or is this more of your regular hangout?" she asked, grasping at something solid for a conversation. Two shy people trying to talk wouldn't get anywhere. Seriously. And both of them were. Well in Alex's case, it all had to do with being self-conscious. She was only making the effort since Anthony was though. He'd taken the time out of his busy DDR schedule to say 'hi' to her -- a complete unknown when compared to most of the other girls around the city.
Tossing her now empty soda cup into a nearby trash can, she slightly cleared her throat, focus once again on Anthony. He seemed...scene, emo...but she wasn't one to usually label people. People would label her a geek...which she was really. Rubbing at her eye lightly, she was conscious of her contacts, being as she'd opted for them instead of her glasses this night. Going without either would only serve in causing her to walk into a brick wall or something. Cliche, whatever. Not her fault she wasn't blessed with perfect vision. She wasn't complaining though. At least she wasn't full-out-blind.

Antony smiled wide at her praise. "Thanks. Me? I don't.. Normally hang out in these places, but until I can afford a DDR machine for me and my... Band, room mates whatever you want to call them, I'ma play here. Yeah, I'm new to town, I've been here... A week or so?"He said shrugging. He wasn't to sure when he had arrived or not. "Come one, I don't like this crowd its to loud lets go sit down."He said motioning for her to lead the way.

"Band?" Alexis repeated, gently quirking her brows. "What's the name of it and what genre of music do you play?" Something told her it was rock, but exactly what type of rock she couldn't be too certain. Or maybe she was misjudging, and he could be into salsa, and worked at one of those Caribbean themed restaurants where the people wore pineapple hats and cha-cha'd across the room. She suddenly had an intense urge to laugh, but resisted, not wanting him to believe she was laughing at him. In a sense, she was, being as she was picturing him in one of those outfits. Lovely really. "Well, hope you enjoy yourself in the City. Its cool. Once you can navigate certain individuals," she said softly, once more tucking that annoying lock of hair away from her eyes.
At his invitation for them to go sit down, Alex almost rejected. She didn't really wanna go sit on her ass again. After having been doing it for the past forty minutes or so, it was probably starting to look as flat as a pancake. Not good. So it didn't, but it wasn't going to stop her from thinking it did. "Okay," she accepted, turning and looking for a place to sit. She all of a sudden was craving a slice of pizza though. Yeah, that sounded good. "You hungry?" she asked, not waiting for a reply from him before she was off to the counter. Ordering a couple slices and another cup of soda, she shifted her gaze to the back of her, noticing a guy with dark hair sitting alone. At that moment, he reminded her of herself really. But then again, maybe he was waiting for someone, as she had been. Looking away since she wasn't one to stare, she patiently waited for her order to be tended to.

Antony smiled and followed her. "Yeah, the name Omega Sea, I had a fish at the time and I was looking at the fish food and saw it... We all just sorta agreed. Genre? Well, I don't really know. We sing some of our own songs, kind of emo, rock-ish? And then, when we run out of songs, we play other bands music."He said nodding. "Thank you. So far, its been really cool. And I don't normally like big cities..."He said He shrugged at eating he didn't know if he was or not.

Merely nodding at his comments, Alexis retrieved her plate and soda cup after pushing across the appropriate bills to pay for her food. "You in school still?" she asked, leading the way to a table the booth down from the dark-haired boy. Sliding in on one side, she set her utensils down atop it. Upon removing her jacket, she tucked it away on her side of the booth, rubbing at her bare arm in an absent manner. Awaiting a reply from her acquaintance, she adjusted the front of her cami, mentally wishing her brother had shown up. He would have led the conversation, taken all the pressure from her to do so.
Placing a pepporoni and extra cheese pizza slice to her nude-gloss covered lips, she took a small bite from it, chewing slowly. Unlike some girls who found eating meals like these to be a...sin, then throw up because they shouldn't have indluged in such a 'treat'...she didn't. Seriously now. All they were doing was destroying their bodies little by little. They could eat this stuff then follow an exercise plan. The idiots.

"Yes. I am I go to the university up here, I'm studying to be a zoologist, what about you? Where do you go?"He asked trying his best to take the pressure of her shoulders. "I'm glad to see at least one girl with the will to eat and live."He said smiling "Thats.. A rare thing now a days."He personally kept so skinny because he never ate and ran around the city alot. But when he did eat. Holy Hell you didn't want to be around. Never.

Darcy walked into the arcade with her infamous lime green purse. She was really bored and decide to let the little girl in her out and play some video games for some suckish prize. Exciting huh? On her feet were those slip on vans things that were white with little blue penguins on them. Her shirt was a new one, it had Happy Feet the Penguin on it and under it and red glittery letters it said bust a move!! With that she also were a simple pair of dark blue jeans with her hair tied in a pony tail with a blue ribbon. She hadn't really felt like going all out today.
She looked around the arcade and smiled a tad bit as the greedy kids ran around with handfuls of tickets and little cups full of gold shiny tokens. She smiled at a few of them and then went to the counter, her wallet in hand. She ordered fifty tokens and then went to go find a game to play. Boy was she horrible at most of these.

"University? How old are you exactly?" Alexis found herself asking, being as he looked like he couldn't be anything over fifteen. He just had that baby face look to him. "I'm still in high school," she informed, not saying which one. "I've only just turned seventeen. Doing my last year right now," she nodded, removing a pepperoni from her pizza slice, placing it in her mouth instantaneously. "When I'm done though, I don't know which College to go yet. Well, in truth, I'm actually aiming for Harvard or Princeton." She hadn't wanted to come off as the geek she was, but she might as well be herself and completely truthful.
Grinning lightly, Alex shrugged. "I don't have any want to look like a twig," she murmured, knowing that when you could stand next to a broomstick and were barely wider than it, something was definitely wrong. Right, exaggerration. But still. Some girls were ridiculously thin these days, and he wasn't talking about the ones who ate a ton and couldn't gain weight because of their metabolism. "So," she said after a while, not wanting their conversation to sink into silence. "What made you decide to become a zoologist?" she inquired, curious to know.

"I feel old now."He said pulling a disgusted face then laughing it off to show he was jokeing. "Barely legal, I just turned twenty one, like... a week ago? Or so.. That last year is the one that kills students. If you fail that, then you won't get that college you want."He murmmered softly. He hadn't gotten into Winthrop cause he had slacked off the first and last year. "Those are good schools. If I had been aiming for something like a lawyer or something then I'd go there! But, alas, I can't hold a good argument for my life."He said tapping the table with a new beat he had come with then stopping. "Sorry, I'm ADD and my mind wanders.. Thats good you aren't one of those girls.. And they do look like twigs. Even I can pick them up.. And that just shows how light they are."He said smiling. He didn't think of himself as strong, he felt wimpy at all times. "What made me decide? I guess, I just like animals, and I wanted to have a back up plan incase the music fails me.. And, I wanted a job I would like. Cause I've seen what happens to people when they don't like thier job.. What are you planning to do.. Once you get out of college, I mean?"He asked.
