Personality
Racheael is a very up-beat kind of girl – around her close friends. To everyone else she’s the outsider. The girl is full of... quirks. She’s a very sweet girl and she always means well, but sometimes it might not be so obvious. When she becomes your friend, she will care for you to death and even if you get annoyed (which most people) do, she will stick around on account that she has never had many friends. Some might find her stupid for sticking around people who don’t want her around, but that’s how she is.
She loves to party and have fun. Around adults, she’s quite the charmer, having been raised as a very polished and polite girl. Around girls, she tries to be friendly as possible. She’s always up for a good time with girlfriends, whether it be organizing a sleep-over or a makeover-movie night. That’s another thing about Rachael, she’s /very/ organize, maybe even a bit too much. She’s a neat freak and is especially germaphobic. She’s very concerned for her health and will sometimes be annoying, as she ‘cares’ for her friends’ health too – as in she might sermon you if she sees you’re ating too much chocolate.
Around the opposite sex, Rachael tries to stay as true and possible, but she gets /very/ nervous. She just hasn’t had a lot of contact with guys, having gone to an all-girls school her whole life. She doesn’t really know how to act around guys, nor knows how to differenciate a boy ebing ‘nice’ from a boy who is actually interested in her. That brings up another one of her flaws. She falls oh-so eaisly for boys. Just having one of them help her out with something and she’s already planning their wedding. A bit obssesive? Just a bit. But that’s Rachael. She’s like that because she’s passionate, especially in what she believes in.
This is another thing about Rachael, she’s that girl that belives in fairytale romances. Those ‘jump-over-the-moon, shout-it-from-a-mountaintop, head-over-heels, love-at-first-sight’ kind of gal. She’s a very optimistic person. Rachael unfortunately has a very low self-esteem of herself, critisizing her looks and her whole self, whenever the opportunity rises up.
Appearances
Rachael has a very girl-next-door look. She keeps it pretty simple. Sure she does the whole makeup thing, but it’s minime. She’s never thought of herslef as beautiful, but she knows she’s pretty. There a /big/ difference between the two, or so she says. She has long brown hair with a caramel, soft brown color mixed into it. Her hair is naturally wavy, but she sometimes straightens it.
She has soft, big brown eyes that might seem like your normal, run-of-the-mill, broing brown eyes, but... But when the girl wants something, and makes her ‘puppy-dog pout’, along with the ‘puppy-dog eyes’, she’s irresistable. Rachael has a pretty nice body, curvy and all. Her mother has always wanted her to look perfect, in shape, so she’s used to going to the gym and working out.
As for clothes, Rachael has a very preppy, clean-cut look. Polos, skirts, blazers, jeans, boots, heels, flats... Maybe an accessory from time to time, but never anything wild and crazy. But here’s the thing, she would /love/ to dress wild n’ crazy, she just doesn’t dare.
Flaws
I kind of incorporated those in her personality. If it's enough, I'll just add more.
Background
She was born and raised in sunny Cali, her mother being a former model and her father well.. Her father left when she was eight and she hasn't heard about him since. She’s never really thought about him, but the fact that she didn’t have a father figure growing is another factor to her cluelessness around males. Her mother, not ebing the warmest creature possinle, sent her away to an all-girls institute. The top school, fartest away from home. So, that place became her second home. She had a few friends there and she lived through the whole ‘clique’ drama, surviving – barely.
As you might guess, she has never had a very chummy-chummy relationship with her mother, the woman seemed to depsise her. She was never good enough for her, she was never perfect. The fact that her mom was a model didn’t help either, it just made it all worse. It made Rachael become obssesed with her looks, which made her ‘flirt’ with anorexia in high school. She still watches her weight now, and when under stress, she mgiht go back to her wrong ways. She just moved to New York, not used to the big city and its nightlife. Or city life. She doesn’t know much about surviving on your own, but she’s trying as hard as she can.
