About You//
Name: Abby, duh. You all know me. <3 It's hard not to.
Age: Fifteen and a half, thank you very much.
Gender: Femme fatale.
How many hours do you spend online daily? Varies, but I'm always active.
Your Character//
Name: Adrienne Louise Kensington.
Age: Seventeen.
Gender: Female.
Race: Caucasian. [British, baby.]
Look-a-Like: Rachel Bilson.,
Personality: She multi-layered, and perhaps an appropriate term to describe Adri would be extreme. Whatever she does, she'll do it in an unexpected way. She's a daredevil--self-proclaimed, and extremely outgoing. The status quo doesn't bother her at all, and she'll be friends with whoever she likes.
It's not hard to get Adrienne angry. Everyone she's met or known, she has an annoyance with. You can't escape it, and it doesn't usually affect things that much unless the annoyance is a prominent personality trait. To some degree she enjoys confrontation, possibly because she knows how to handle it. If she's feeling down, everyone else should too.
Adrienne laughs easily. She cries easily. She loves easily. A guy she becomes good friends with? Almost instantly she'll find herself falling for him, especially if they're any alike in demeanor or personality. Time and time again she's served herself up on a platter only to be broken. She has learned that it makes you stronger--but that's about it.
She's a drama queen, no doubt about that. Her personality is absolutely intoxicating. She makes a good friend, and if she's with you? She's with you forever... she does care.
Appearance: She's petite, with a build typical of London-esque models. Her hair is dark brown and usually worn straight and down to her shoulder blades. It's nothing special, really, but she loves to curl it or put funny little Tiffany barrettes in. It becomes a part of who she is, her quirky style.
At only around 5'2 and a half, stilettos are a common occurence. Adrienne believes them to be the ultimate symbol of sexiness, and they give the high boost she needs so that she doesn't have to tip her head all the way back just to look at a guy. Double purpose. Lovely.
Her eyes are huge and dark brown, with flecks of a caramel color. She has been told, usually by past boyfriends, that they're her best feature. Then again, her skin has recieved the same admiration. It's almost like porcelain, white and extremely vulnerable to sun.
Flaws:
[x] Her tendency to love too hard.
[x] She gets annoyed easily.
[x] Fights are a common occurence.
[x] She wears her heart on her sleeve, with friends and with dreams.
Background: Adrienne is the daughter of a rich banker--her father, Kevin. He grew up in London--a rather difficult man, only wanting the best for everyone surrounding him. But as hard as he hoped for happiness, he created the ruts in the road for himself.
He met her mother, Natalie--a Parisian painter--when he was twenty-five and just starting to really hit his strides in business. They were exact opposites, but hit it off at a fancy gallery opening. After dinner dates, coffee shops, gifts, and one romantic vacation to her home city, they were engaged. All in nine months. They fought all the time, but the one thing that was important... Was that they were crazy about each other.
Then along came her brother--Jeremy. He was born in London, an adorable brunette boy with chubby cheeks and a fighter's attitude. After that was Adri, the girl destined to steal all the attention. Growing up she was absolutely girly, always wandering around the house and dressing herself up, making songs and plays. This translates to her outgoing, theatrical personality.
Her parents still fight--and she fights with them right back, always trying to break up the arguements and getting herself even more tangled up in them. Her father is so tough on her, about grades and life, that he loves a little too much. The Kensingtons moved to New York when Adri was fifteen, and she quickly adapted. Her accent didn't ever fade, though.
