About Me//
Name: Nessa
Age: 19
Gender: Female
How many hours do you spend online daily? – Definitely way too much.
My Character//
Name: Eric Guy Deniel
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Male
Race: He’s Caucasian, but his roots are French
Look-a-Like: Hayden Christensen
Appearance: Earth brown locks with random natural streaks of amber are naturally curly, like his sister, but doesn’t make him look feminine in the least, mainly since he keeps it short. It’s just long enough to have a hand be ran through comfortably, and his piano-like fingers are usually found tangled within when he’s lost in thought. His eyes are a light blue with semi-long lashes, but there’s no real stand-out quality about them.
Standing at 6’1”, his frame is nicely built, even though he doesn’t really indulge in any sport activities. However, he does work out, but not excessively, just enough to keep his toned, runner’s form. He has to, as he possesses that same healthy appetite as his sister holds, but he eats a lot more than her naturally. In truth though, he wouldn’t gain much weight from what he devoured, since his metabolism is fast anyway. Not that he cares. Working out gives him something to do with his time. And no, he doesn’t have muscle bulk or look like he’s some steroid popping freak.
As for his taste in clothing, it’s not exact. He’ll wear any and everything, as long as it doesn’t look like he shopped in dumpsters. He pulls off most any look, even though he doesn’t put much effort into dressing.
Although Alexis and he are siblings, they don’t really look it, and people who don’t know them might think of them as a couple instead of related. Ew.
Personality: A main part of Eric’s personality is that he has free will, and wants to do whatever he wants whenever he feels like it. He doesn’t like any sort of authority figure, besides his parents. If someone tries telling him what to do, he either clams up and walks away, or gets angry and lashes out. With Eric you just never know what you’re going to get.
He doesn’t have a temper really, so if anyone managed to get him riled up enough to yell or argue, they did a pretty good job of pissing him off in the first place. He’s more of the stereotypical lover, than a fighter. Fairly more outgoing than his sister, he fits in more easily, and finds talking with anyone – from old men to beautiful young ladies, to not be a difficult task. Maybe it’s the fact that he looks inside a person than how they appear to be on the outside. After all, beauty is way more than skin deep.
Oh, and if he doesn’t like you, he’ll make it known. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, and you’ll know exactly what it is about you that irks him to no end. Its either change, or get the hell out of his face. Of course there won’t be an argument or yelling, since he has a nice hold on his temper, as aforementioned.
Flaws: So he’s not the most reliable guy. He’d shirk his duties and neglect his responsibilities just…well, just because he feels like it. Oh yes, he remembers what he’s supposed to do, but if he doesn’t want to…screw you. This lack of self-concern for important matters has gotten him into trouble before, and probably will continue to do just that.
He’s also stubborn, to the point of not listening to what anybody else has to say. So basically, he’s never wrong, even if the other person is right.
Women; they can walk all over him once they get him attached. He gives his all, or nothing at all, and they use this to their advantage. Sure he’s been hurt in the past, but he doesn’t seem to learn. The girls had seemed nice in the beginning…
Background: Although he was born to French parents, Eric wouldn’t have known the language had he not been accompanying his sister to her summer classes; he’d been bored…well, that was the excuse he used. His parents were pretty much Americanized, and being as they lived in the United States now, they didn’t see the need to raise their children outside of the English language. No one really knew their roots unless they asked for a write-up on their family tree.
The Deniel family hadn’t always been wealthy, and are to be considered ‘new money’ as a result. Carine and Aidan had traveled to the United States (New York to be exact) on vacation twenty years ago as two teenagers in love, and immediately fell in love with the country and the atmosphere. Not that they preferred it over their homeland, but they liked it nonetheless.
Using smarts and a bit of luck, Aidan made it big trading on the stock market, and has made investments in numerous companies where the results have paid off grandly. Creating a line of casinos about the U.S., his profits keep escalating, and it doesn’t seem like anything could stop this high roller. He lives off risks, and his son seems to have inherited that trait.
Eric himself used to run track, but that ended late in his junior year. No, it wasn’t because of some freak accident, but instead because he just…well, he had his reasons. And he probably wouldn’t tell you if you asked. It’s pretty…personal.
