How many times had he been here? Pshh, plenty. It was Cameron’s favorite place in New York, especially in the winter. He loved the snow, he loved walking in it--mainly to hear the ‘crunching’ noise it often gave off. He had so many memories at this park. He used to come up here every day after school when he was in his middle school ages. He and his friends would come up and often engage in snowball fights during the winter, to casual games of tag in the spring. During the summer, Cameron was here everyday for a good amount of timing. He remembered lying in the grass and gazing at the stars with his sister or father. Good times, good times.
Now that he was older, grown, and....’busy’, Cameron never found the time to get out of the house to do something with himself. He had been out of school for a year now, and was planning on getting into college once the semester started up again. Kerstin was following in his footsteps, wanting to do the same, though he assured he it wasn’t a great idea. He had forgotten a lot over the year, but he was going to stick with it, though he really hoped Kerstin would go straight into college once the semester started up. She was out of school, having just graduated, but felt the need of a little time off.
Finally a day of relaxation. Cameron was seated on a bench in the middle of the park, his hands atop his thighs as he watched some other locals stroll along. Somewhere nice to look at, while others were...you know—if you caught his drift. A horn dog? Nah, but pretty damn close. Dressed in the usual—a pair of dark-washed jeans and a polo from who-knows where—Cameron sat amongst himself, bringing his hands to his mouth every so often to blow into them with his heated breath.

Catheryn smiled, showing pearly whites as she glanced up to see the snow falling. It was a beautiful sight, of course. She was in need of the fresh air, and well Rio needed a walk; before she annoyed Cat completely. Soft crunches took place in her ears as she stepped swiftly trying to keep up with her growing puppy. Actually, putting it that way Rio seemed to be walking her; if anything. The breeze felt freshing upon her clear skin, free of blemishes or pimples. It was a gift to have such perfect skin, of course her whole family had it. One thing she wasn't born with was perfect teeth, which she suffered two years of Junior high to fix with the dreadful braces; which was worth it now, considering she had amazing teeth. Catching a few flakes in her mitten covered hand she laughed releasing her eye strain from looking up; now just looking forward.
In one hand she held the hot pink leash that was connected to rio's cute collar, and in the other was her notebook full of loose pages. Covering her small-framed torso was a soft cloth, light pink, long sleeved Hollister shirt with the symbol on the chest. Loosely clung to the shirt was a white, Volcom Stone half zipped sweatshirt the word Volcom on front, and Stone on the back. Hugging her size zero legs were ripped and destroyed denim jeans, with pink and white striped legings covering the holes with style. Climbing up the bottoms of her jeans were tan ugg boots, with pink lining. Not to mention her toes fit cozily in her size six boots. Her hair was straight, swaying slowly with the wind as she walked.
A big gush of wind picked up, knocking the notebook from her hands. Papers flew everywhere. Great. Trying to catch them she danced around chasing them infront of a bench. Not to mention the cute guy sitting on it.

With stray, blue-green eyes drifting from place to place around the large park, Cameron was intentionally drawn to some movement near-by. A paper or two had fluttered amongst him, stopping at his feet. He eyed the pages suspiciously, wondering, at first where they had come from. Looking up, only to make everything sensible, Cameron spotted a girl, the owner of the few distraught pages. He smirked to himself and slowly reached out for the parchment. When they were within his grasp, Cameron stood, straightening himself out a bit and nearing the blonde. It might have been the first thing he noticed about her; her hair. It was natural, well, for the most part.
With a moment of thinking time, Cameron finally thought up some words he figured would fit the scene. “Here you are, ma’am.” He stated, ever so politely. With a warm grin, he held out the papers for her, letting his eyes dance upon the dog that had been attached to her, figuratively speaking. With his free hand, Cameron found a place for it in his pocket, protecting it from the cold, dry air that had just recently began to disperse tiny snowflakes. Lovely. It was a beautiful day, even if the sky had a gray tint to it, it only seemed to promise more snow; Cameron’s winter survival source.

Catching just a few, she lost two others. Where had they fallen? Scanning everywhere she met eyes with a guy, who happened to be carring her missing papers. What a gentlemen. Shifting herself toward the guy she smiled softly. "Thank you greatly.." she said; with a guilty look. "I'm a cluts if anything" she mentioned; not sure really if he cared. Her silver chained, pink diamond heart necklace seemed to be swaying as she spoke. Simply annoying her, it tickled. Stopping the necklace's movement; she stared at the guy with radiant green eyes.
Stuffing the papers back into the notebook, she sighed. She had made a fool of herself. Softly taking the pages from him she put them away also. Rio happily jumped on the guy's legs and swirled around him excited. "Girl..stop" she said trying to unwind the boy from the struggle of the leash. "Well I think she has a crush" she laughed releasing a few loose strands of blonde hair from her eyes, as the wind blew them there.

“You are...greatly welcome.” His words were a little off, not coming out exactly as he thought them up to, but it made sense either way. ‘A klutz.’ Nah, she had made a simple mistake. If anything, it was the winds faulting, not hers. He thought about sharing this lovely piece of thought with her, but, it was only, however, a thought...a drifted one. He was lost in all thoughts; the ones that whipped through his head while he was alone on the bench had mixed with the ones he was thinking up now. It was an utter mess, really. He debated on remaining silence as to not make a fool of himself, just for them better. It wasn’t as if he felt he needed to impress this girl, but didn’t all guys make the effort these days? It was shameless. What happened to the good ol’ days way back--when guys and girls actually feel in /love/ and not in lust? Sure, there were some relationships around that were not focused completely around sex, exchanging bodily fluids, and all that jazz, but it was rare.
Cameron was surprised to have the dog make a move so quickly. He had only smiled down at the animal, he could only imagine what the dog would have done if he...winked. Hmm, drifted, pointless, and immature thoughts again, typical Cameron. Doing his part in the un-raveling Cameron almost tripped over the leash, causing his hands to grab hold of the nearest object, in this case, the girl’s shoulders. His grip was firm, and as soon as he caught his balance again, he let go of her abruptly, an apologetic look rising upon his face. “I’m sorry.” He stated, quirking the corners of his lips into a slight, innocent smile. ‘I’m Cameron.” He said, deciding to introduce himself when the time was right...there would be no better timing, the mishaps would only continue.

Greatly welcome? Was he making fun of her, well she did sound abit retarded but only because she was simply tired. Plus when she tried to start a casual conversation, she was lost in thought; therefore it was impossible to sound intelligent or well-grammered. Oh well. Tucking the notebook into her purse, she absently-mindedly swayed back and forth like a rocker. She was bored, and well she wasn't just about to walk away like a rude person. She was naturally polite. No doubt about it.
Tucking some hair behind her ears she sighed. "Sorry about the dog, I swear she has a..d..d" she stated, with an apologetic smile. As he said sorry for grabbing her shoulder she just smiled. It wasn't like he was trying to be a pevert or anything. Just simply trying to gain his balance back. Pushing her soft lips into a innocent smile, she took a breath. "I'm Catheryn" she introduced holding out her lotioned, smooth hand.

The incident with the dog was an innocent one; there was no reasoning for her to apologize, though it would make someone seem polite as if they’d rather not say anything about it. “The dog is fine, it is okay.” He assured her with a light quirk of a smile. As honest as it seemed, Cameron felt he had invaded Catheryn by touching her in the way he had. He truly was sorry. “I’m sorry...again.” he added, feeling pressured for forgiveness when it really wasn’t needed.
“It is nice to meet you, Catheryn.” Cameron stated, taking her hand into his own, realizing his had been way bigger, and noticing the soft touch hers had to offer. She had a nice smile. Cameron noticed this rather quickly. Was he attracted towards her? Sure. He was almost definite that many guys that she knew were. But, just because he thought she was rather gorgeous, didn’t mean he felt like making a drastic move. Friends would be good for him, really.

"it's fine I swear" she smiled as he apologized once more. Really it didn't affect her in any way, but she knew he was just a gentlemen; and accepted that. "Pleasures Mine Cameron" she complimented with a smirk. Noticing the major hand difference she laughed to herself. And a major height difference, considering she was only 5'2. Short yes, she knows.
Shifting herself all the way towards the boy she smirked once more. Rio was now calm; for once in her life. Sitting there and panting heavly holding back any implusive actions. Being a dog, she really couldn't help it.
Catheryn ignoring the dog thought for a while; checking him out abit. Yes he was attractiv, didn't mean she was going to be desperate. Being friends with guys was way better then relationships anyway. Especially because she just got out of one.

Cameron let out an over-dramatic sigh, you know, to be ‘funny’. “Okay, I just felt I needed some forgiveness is all.” He stated with a breathy chuckle. His then let go of her hand, letting his over make its way into his pocket, just as the other one had done. His pockets were...warm-- Warm and comfortable. He hovered above the small girl, but he was used to it, many of his friends were shorter than him...all thanks to his father. He didn’t mind being tall though, he felt some sort of power over others, though he never used this ‘power’. He was a normal guy, and treated everyone equally. Manners played in on his part there.
His eyes flickered once more to the dog, though his face was straight. She was a cute one, but then again, most dogs were cute, hmm, well, if you exclude the twins dog that he had met at the cafe. It made him cringe almost--the thought.
“So, Catheryn, may I join you in your walk?” Cameron asked, slightly making a move of his body as to start the walk with a gesture, though he’d wait for her answer.” He’d like to get to know this girl, he could use closer friends.
