Darcy had taken a break from being at the rink because her feet were killing her. She was going to go to the Tritoni to get some of there wonderful hot chocolate but it was jam packed with people.
As little flakes of snow began to fall to the ground Darcy picked out a bench and sat down on it. She set her purse next to her and hugged her baggy Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie to her body. It was a great day to people watch or even meet some new people. |

Aaah, this cold season wasn’t the best one when you were a smoker was it?
Nathaniel dug his hands frozen hands into the pockets of his coat as he walked towards the rink not quite sure why he was going there, well when he was stoned it was usually fun to just hang out even though he didn’t really skate much.
His bloodshot eyes glanced around looking for an empty bench, sadly there wasn’t and he really needed to sit down. I guess he’ll have to share, which wasn’t a bad thing or anything, it’s just easier to think when you’re sitting alone.
The boy made his way to a bench with a girl seated, he sat down at the other end and looked straight ahead.
‘Mmm, I smell like pot.’ He thought as he took a smell of the air around him.

Darcy watched the guy sit next to her so she scooted over a bit. He looked like a shady character. She didn't want to judge a book by its cover though but once she got a whiff of that stench she tried not gag. Was that..pot? Darcy had never smoked it but she had an idea of what it smelt like and that was it.
She bit her tongue down so she wouldn't cause herself to make a snotty remark. [/center] |

If Nate didn’t know better the girl by him seemed a bit disturbed… okay maybe not but she was looking at him. And he couldn’t help but steal a glance, so he did… Hah, she was cute but still didn’t seem to enjoy the fact he was sitting on the same bench as hers.
He shrugged it off and stared out at the people passing by, most of them had a lot of shopping bags, filled with Christmas presents probably. Aaah, Christmas.

Darcy rummaged through her bag and popped a piece of gum into her mouth. 'Great.' she thought as she noticed the guy look at her. She sighed as she worked up the courage in introduce herself.
She gulped and said "Uh, I'm Darcy." as she turned to him. [/center] |

Nate blinked a bit hearing the voice of the cute girl by him. So her name was Darcy huh?
The boy smiled politely as he introduced himself.
“I’m Nathaniel… but you can just call me Nate.”
Nate was much better than Nathaniel or so he thought, the only persons he knew that called him like that were… his parents, when they were mad… Yeah, Nate was better.
“You enjoy watching people or are you waiting for someone?” he asked keeping that polite smile he was raised to do.
