After a surprising acceptance of the invite back to his house, Cameron told Megan that he had walked her, only living a block or two away. It wasn’t much really, or at least it wasn’t to him. He hoped she’d be able to with stand the freezing temperature a tad bit longer. The two reached his house some five minutes later, when Cameron realized they could have caught a taxi, seeing as the roads weren’t /as/ packed as they usually were, though, in reality, that wasn’t say too much.
Stepping up to the door, knowing Megan was behind him, Cameron opened the door and stepped inside, holding it open for Megan, gesturing with his hand that she could come inside. Now, mind him, his place wasn’t as great as others around New York, seeing as he still lived with his sister and father. He liked the company though, and honestly, he didn’t plan on moving out anytime too soon. “Well, this is it.” He stated, glancing around the wide-opened living room, complete with necessary furniture and paintings hung along the walling. It was a typical room, as were the rest of them amongst the large house, totaling five bedrooms in all and three bathrooms. It may have been considered bit, but Cameron didn’t think of it as a big deal, he knew others had it better, but he wasn’t complaining.
His eyes returned back to Megan, watching her almost admirably, though he kept it a natural gaze. He was guessing Kerstin would be home, but he could be wrong. His father was working, so, other than the possibility of his sister being around, the two were alone. This couldn’t be awkward. Cameron didn’t do so well in awkward situations, but she didn’t seem like the kind of girl who would let anything turn ‘awkward’ or uncomfortable.

It was a pleasant walk to his house, actually quite refreshing. Sure it was cold, but when you're walking, talking and at times skipping you kind of forget you're outside. Plus he was entertaining, well more then most of her friends. He was a pretty cool kid, although Megan shouldn't be refering to him as a kid considering he seemed older then herself. She did find herself saying thank god though when they made it there without becoming popsicles. Wouldn't that be exicting? A blonde popsicle.
As he let the door open for them both, she walked in examining the house with her designer opinion. It was simply gorgeous. If he had designed it then he has some taste, especially for a guy. Usually guys think, oh beer, couch, tv, but no this was like somewhat family-ish. It was awesome. Megan practically thought anything was rad though. She was concerned to walk on his carpet with her shoes, she was odd like that. Most people didn't care much to take the time to take off their shoes. As she took off her Ugg boots, she smirked revealing her Black, pink, and lime green socks that held the word 'Roxy', scattered on the sock. Shocked as the movement in her sweatshirt pocket she pulled it out with the song playing less muffled. It was her favorite song, Make Damn Sure by 'Taking Back Sunday.' "you've got this new head filled up with smoke I got my veins all tangled close to the jukebox bars you frequent the safest place to hide a long night spent with your most obvious weakness you start shaking at the thought you are everything i want cause you are everything i'm not----" Megan ignored the called considering it wasn't really important. She danced along with the song though, kind of childish you ask? of course. It was her personality. Sue Her.
"It's gorgeous" she replied, refering to his house. It really was, she shouldn't sugar coat anything. So she was like the most truth-worthy person. Usually why she didn't have any girl-friends, they were all so drama drinched. It was most addicting then drugs to the girls. Megan had found herself in the middle of some shit, when she hung around girls like that. Mainly why she didn't often. Unless they were somewhat like herself.

Hmm, he was actually kind of glad she had liked the house. He, of course, had not designed it himself. It was much of his sister’s mind that put it all together. He took the ‘manly’ part by placing all the furniture into its rightful place after Kerstin had picked out every color, stick, frame...the list could go on. Cameron couldn’t be bothered with the task, he wasn’t really creative, but he had ideas and thoughts. In all, he wasn’t so much of the ‘artsy’ kind of guy that many girls practically begged for, other than the kind of guys that would just do it with you, but that would be leaning more towards the whore-ish girls, if anything.
Just then, his ears tweaked to the sound of music playing from her jacket. He knew the song, yes, but he wasn’t about to sing it or dance along to it as she had, though he’d admit she made it look fun. He laughed at her movements, not bothering to ask why she hadn’t picked up the phone. He shrugged it off his mind, coming to a conclusion that he probably was just trying to be polite, though he really wouldn't have minded if she had answered it; after all, it may have been something important.
As far as her taking off her shoes, really, he didn’t mind if she had kept them on, but he followed suit anyways, letting his slid off his cold, stiff, feet. Those skates he had worn back at the ice rink weren’t too warm. The ‘breathed’ well, but it wasn’t such a great thing in the winter.
“So, Megan, are you hungry? Thirsty?” he asked her, pulling off his hoodie to reveal and white collared polo with think navy blue stripes. He hung the hoodie on a hook near the door, taking a quick glance at her with a question look upon his face as he turned and headed for the kitchen.

Megan smiled as he took off his shoes also, he was quite the gentlemen. Walking alittle bit more into the house, she smirked at him happily. She knew that it may turn out awkward after a while when they had nothing else to say; but she'd keep the conversation flowing to prevent it. He didn't look like the type of guy that liked awkward situations. Then again who was. Nobody liked them, they were like bugs that annoyed you to death.
She slowly released her hands from the pink mittens, that stopped at her knuckles revealing her pink nail-polished fingers. Putting the gloves back into her roxy purse she thought of something she could say to get conversation going. Her mind was completely blank, god why did this have to happen to her know. They should have went to coffee or something, you could socialize more there. Oh well, they were here, so she'd make the best of it. Yes she was optimistic, that isn't a bad thing..hopefully.
"No thank you, I'm quite content" she replied with a innocent smile. She still followed him into the kitchen though. She didn't want to be alone in his house. It'd be odd. Especially if he lived with family still. "So, what do you do in your freetime?" she asked, out of curiousity. Okay maybe the starter was alittle lame. Oh well. It was something.

Opening the cabinet above the stove, Cameron refrained from grabbing two glasses and, instead, grabbed only one for himself. Gripping the glass firmly, he nodded as she answered his question; fine to hear the words she was ‘content’. He was never one to try and persuade anyone into anything, you know, like the people who egged on the question with ‘are you sure?’ and whatnot. He accepted the first answer they gave, not seeing any big deal it would be if they later asked for something. He didn’t mind, really.
Closing the cabinet shut, Cameron made his way to the refrigerator, pulling its door open and examining its many contents. Finally laying eyes on what he wanted, and hand was reached inside the appliance, pulling out a jug of two percent milk. Some could say he was addicted to the drink, having at least one glass, if not more, a day. But what could he say? The stuff was good. H poured himself a small glass, not wanting to seem too rude around his guest, and then set the milk jug back into the fridge, closing its door shut upon doing so.
Leaning his back against the counter, he face Megan, bringing the glass to his lips to take a small sip as he listened to her words. Swallowing the cool liquid in his mouth, he set the glass down beside him on the counter top and let the palms of his hands cling to the counters edge as he crossed one leg over the other, setting himself into a comfortable stance.
“Well, considering I have a lot of free time, I just try to find ways to entertain myself. I have no real hobbies or interests, so I usually am home sitting on my—well, I am usually home watching TV, or out and about doing...whatever.” He answered, refraining from cussing in front of her again with a smirk. He needed a life; at this point he didn’t have one. Maybe he needed a job.... “And how about you, other than skating, what do you like to do?” he asked her, knowing his questions were the same as hers, but he figured she only asked him to be asked the question herself, maybe not though.

Megan watched the boy, he was cute; she as a girl couldn't deny that. She wouldn't even try to deny it. She wasn't the kind of person to sugar-coat anything. Watching him drink his mild was funny, kind of cute. Yes it was odd how she could find enjoyment in it, but she did. Walking over to the counter Cameron leaned, she leaned beside him. She found it better being by him, for some odd reason. If she just stood there she felt like she was staring at him or something. But maybe she had made a mistake of moving too close to him? Well she wasn't trying to get on him or something so it shouldn't really matter. Well she hoped anyway, Meg didn't want him to think she was some sort of girly horn dog.
"Well, Usually I just write, go to clubs and rave out" she paused with a few little giggles. "Hang out with people, or sing and play the guitar...all odd interests I know" she finished, but she couldn't refrain her smile. Okay so she was alittle bit boring. Oh well.

Cameron watched Megan as she neared him and placed herself the way he had against the counter. Oh, was she mimicking him now, or was it a move of innocence. Maybe she /wanted/ to get closer to him. The many thoughts brought a smile to his face in which he played off by looking in the opposite direction. If she were to have seen the smile, she could conclude that he was liking it a bit /too/ much, but, in all, she could conclude many things.
He intentionally listed to her many interests, thinking about each as they were spit from her mouth. The were, well, interesting, but far from ‘odd’. “They weren’t odd.” He started, turning to look back—down—at her. “They seem very interesting, and you must have some talent within yourself, miss Megan.” That must’ve been the third time he had referred to her as ‘miss Megan’. It was pitiful and he was almost sure that she didn’t appreciate it, though he could be wrong. He brushed the thought of word choice off his mind, and while he was at he, he brushed everything else off too. So, there he stood with an empty mind, though it was far from empty in actuality. “Do you have any siblings, relatives, anyone here in New York?” he finally asked after a moment of silence. He’d like to get to know this girl...well.

Megan glance up as he had the smile on his face, but turning his head from her. She smiled to herself lightly also. She was glad she met this boy. She shifted herself alittle to look up at him as he looked at her.
"Well, I'm an only child, My family moved to California, but I have a Cousin here, Her name is Catheryn O'Bryan. Not sure if you know her." she stated, maybe rambling on too much. She let her lips tilt into a smile as she explained her family.
She ruffled down her shirt to make it lay smooth upon her flat stomach. Sure she was alittle ashamed that she was completely skinny. She didn't even have to work out to be skinny, she just was..It ws a family thing; obviously. Considering everyone in her family was small-framed. Especially Catheryn, and her height of 5'2. Megan beat her size by four inches. Making it seem like She was the older one; but in reality Catheryn was older then her by two years.
"I'm not that interesting" she admited. "I'm actually kind of lazy" she laughed as she patted down on her stomach, asif symbolizing she had a pot belly. Which was by far; wrong. "So, Mr. Cameron, siblings, relatives, ?" she questioned him, because this was the time they asked and threw questions back at eachother. It was sort of like..a game everyone plays when meeting someone. 20 Questions.

“Catheryn. Yes, I do believe I have met her.” He replied to her comment. That was why her hair had reminded him of Catheryn. What a small world. “You and your cousin look a lot alike, believe it or not. Which, from my standings is not at all a bad thing.” He spoke, a smirk playing on his face, just...lingering there for a moment or so, as if proud of his words. It was pitiful, really; the way he was probably looking. Could all he do was smirk? Why not a gentle glow of a smile? Eh, whatever. “So, an only child? Hmm, are the rumors true, do you get /everything/ you want?” he teased her, though really wanting to know. Cameron had never wanted to be an only child. He liked having company, but every now and again the thought seemed nice, though he was sure everyone who had a sibling dreamt about it at one time or another.
“Hah, lazy. If so, you and I will get along great. You know, I try to be as active as I once was, but everything seems to slow me down. Though I am not quite sure what ‘everything’ is.” He stated, some pauses made in the course of his words.
Siblings, relatives, the whole sha-bang. He had them all. “Yes, I do as a matter of fact. I live here in this house with both my father and my sister, Kerstin.” He paused, thinking of where the rest of his large family settled. “I have a lot of family back in Florida. I moved here from Florida when I was...twelve.” he added, some question in his tone of voice, as he was not sure of the exact age. “Kerstin is a couple of years younger than me. Around your age, I assume.” He informed her, though she could probably care less. But, for all he knew, the two could have already met.

Megan smiled, as he said Catheryn and her looked alot alike. She was glad too, they both got some good genes. Either way, both the girls couldn't handle alcohol well either. They were alot alike when it came down to it. They both have extreme goals for themselves, and didn't have a limit of respect. Catheryn was a great person in Megan's opinion. The truth was, they girls weren't cousins by blood. In-laws who were awesomely awesome together. They did look alot alike for not really being blood cousins.
"Um Kerstin? not sure I dont think I've met her" She stated with a thinking daze. "Yes this is a small world though.." she agreed with a nod of the head; and her blonde curls bouncing on her back.
"Yeah, alittle we kind of have the same hair style" she admited with picturing Catheryn in her head. They actually did look alot alike.
Megan smile at the boy as she looked up at him once more. He was tall, considering Megan was alittle short. Although tall enough to model.

He knew it. Kerstin was an anti-social. It made him feel ashamed in his sister for not getting out there and meeting people. He didn’t know who her friends were, but he didn’t figure she had many. Cameron shook his head gently as he listened to Megan’s words. “Well, I am sure you will meet her one day or another, though I don’t believe she is home right now.” He stated with a light shrug, taking another sip of the milk and finishing it. He set the now empty glass down on the counter, maintaining his position against it.
Listening about Megan egg on about Catheryn, he agreed with a nod of his head about the hair. It had caught his eye---with both girls. He wouldn’t deny the fact that he was attracted to blondes, but at the same time, he’d honestly been with a few brunettes. When it came down to it, he didn’t really have a ‘type’ in girl. He could fall for anyone who he got along with. She didn’t necessarily have to be gorgeous, but it was always wanted, wasn’t it?
“Are you sure you aren’t hungry or thirsty?” he asked, just to sound polite, even though he told himself he wouldn’t do it.

"Yeah I'm sure" she replied to the hungry, thirsty comment. He was sweet, she knew that much so far. But were they gonna sit in the kitchen all night? Of course she didn't mind, talking to him was fun, entertaining enough atleast. Sure she doubted he was even into her, but she was kind of starting to like the guy with every word he said. Although, he seemed alot more mature then she was herself.
She took care of things of course, but he seemed ..grown up already. The type that didn't drink or anything, well she could be judging too early. Sure she respected himas a person, but he seemed well put together. Megan was too, she wouldn't be modest about that. She already did a year out of college and passed it with a 4.0 which was excellent. She forced herself out of highschool, and right into college. It was hard yes. He just had something to him that she couldn't figure out.
It was good though, she liked guys they weren't all over her and smoothering. She liked romatic guys, who knew how to keep a decent relationship. He seemed like one of those guys.

“Alright, if you insist.” He muttered with a shrug, pushing himself away from the counter’s edge, grabbing the glass to go along with the ride. He strolled over to the sink, turning on the nozzle before slipping the glass beneath it to fill with water. When the liquid had reached the top, Cameron tipped the glass over, clearing away any left over milk he had not received and opening the dishwasher to slip the cup inside. Cameron had always been organized and clean, he could honestly admit his room was spotless. He felt somewhat cramped with messes, which soon led to feeling claustrophobic, a phobia in which Cameron’s stomach did not agree. Sure, it was a very common phobia, but Cameron was the /only/ one in his family who had it, often being taken advantage of for a little ‘joke’--a joke that Cameron never found funny.
He then turned back to Megan, his hands finding their way into his pockets, as he stood motionless across the way from her. He offered a gentle smile, letting his eyes dance around her body once before locking onto her eyes. “Would you like a tour of the house?” he asked, his hands gesturing towards the stairs of the large place. The suggestion wasn’t an original one, but it was all he could think of...for now. And, well, it’d keep them busy for a good five to ten minutes, if anything.

Watching Cameron cleaned the cup, she figured he had an obession of cleaning. Which was odd, because Megan did also, not too bad though. She got stressed when she was in a mess, or something that is too crowded. Her mother had it also. As he finished, she found his eye seducing her body. He probably didn't mean it in a perverted way though. He didn't seem like the type.
"Sure, why not" she smiled. Their conversations were begining to get alittle short, and non talkative. She needed to make things alittle less awkward. She shifted her body toward him and began walking by his side. Although, he was taller then her, so she had to look up to him. He was cute though no doubt about it.
"So besides TV, like what do you enjoy doing ?" she questioned quite curious with the boy.

Happy to show her around, Cameron glanced towards the living, noting she had already seen it and had been introduced to it. “You’ve already seen the living room, kitchen, uhm, there is a bathroom right down that hall.” He stated, beginning the tour and pointing towards a hallway that led to a bathroom and had its walls complete with pictures of he and Kerstin. A few pictures held the entire family, but most were dedicated to when Cameron and Kerstin were way younger, you know, ages one through, oh, let’s say...ten. Baby photos hung about it, taking a nice form as well as some of the photo shoots the two had done way back when.
“And if you would follow me up the stairs, I will show you the bedrooms and the ‘studio in the making’.” Cameron spoke down to her, catching her eyes and smiling upon her. She was, indeed, shorter than he was, but that point was blunt and obvious. Starting for the stairs, Cameron thought about what he liked to do other than watch TV. Well, what did all guys like to do?....He’d avoid that by naming off a few others. “Uh, I just try to find things to do with all my free time. Central park is my favorite place here in the city.” He answered, his back facing her as he reached the steps. He turned to her, signaling for her to follow him up.
Traveling the full height of twenty plus steps, Cameron looked down towards Megan, awaiting her arrival at the top with him.
