"So then he kissed this other girl.."
"And you got pissed?"
"Well, duh."
"Yeah, I get it. But babe, just forget about him. He was just another asshole in the crowd."
Ophelia sighed.
Her sister was probably right. But thing was, she coulnd't forget about him. She had this nagging little voice that kept telling her to give him a scond chance, even though she didn't want to.
Both girls were facing each other, sitting in a red booth. Ophelia was eating a salad and some fries, along with a Pepsi. Olivia had opted for a pizza slice with Coke.
The blonde tugged at her white winter beanie, which she woulnd't stop wearing. Over her torso was covered by a bright yellow T-shirt that read 'Smile, it's the second best thing you can do with your lips'. The 'Smile' was in a bright bold white letters, and the rest of the text, written udnerneath was in smaller, white letters. Down on her legs were black skinny jeans, tucked into black, high-heeled boots. Her sister was wearing A simple, v-neck black T-shirt. Around her neck was a long, skinny, black and white striped scarf. Dark blue jeans hugged her legs and black flats were on her feet.
"I'm gonna go get some fries.." said Oli, as she got up and walked away.

Over hearing abits and pieces of Ophelia's and some other girl's conversation, he sighed deeply. Well, being drunk doesn't help a man out. Come on, couldn't she just give him a chance to prove himself, yeah that was the first mark out. What about the other two? He pondered for moments as he searched for a booth //somewhat// near the two. Flowers?, Chocolates? Gawh. What could he do, he didn't mean it ..he wasn't fully aware that he was completely pissing her off to the limit. And the kiss was nothing..It didn't have a meaning or anything, just randomly done by two inntoxicated people. Sure he expected her to get mad, but did it have to last forever. The whole Anthony thing wasn't out of anger, it was just one stupid drunk guy pissing off a sober guy. Sure he had nothing agaisnt the dude, what was he suppose to do say 'sorry' to him?
Women never failed to confuse him, he wasnt just an average //asshole// he was deeper then that..maybe not the best at showing it. He seemed as if he went around kissing girl for the heck of it, well it seemed like she did too. she acted as if they were going out, maybe she did like him ..//alot..//
He was trendy in his wardobe like any other day.. A cream white shirt stripped with blue covered his muscular torso, a black "AFI" zip-up clung loosely over the shirt. Wrapted at the waist was his recently bought Destroyed & Ripped Abercrombie&Fitch jeans..and the all-mighty American Eagle shoes that had smudges of dirt at the sides, like any other shoe.
Fumbling his fingers nerviously he began to speak, but nothing came out. Toughen up..would be his father's words..But why was it so fucking hard. He never had problems talking to girls. Although that might have changed if he had pissed them off. He cleared his throat. "Ophe--lia" he said with a sudden crack in his voice like a little boy. How embarssing...

Eating a fry, she looked up as she heard someone call her name. In rather odd voice I might add too. She was pretty surprised to see it was Jason, but insead of rolling her eyes at the boy, she simply looked at him from up to down.
Why did he have to be so cute?
She bit her lower lip out of habit, wondering what to tell him. She didn't want to leave it at that, because oddly enough.. She knew /something/ was happening. Maybe it was just lust, but hey, it was a rather /strong/ sense of lust if it was.
Ugh, she should listen to Olivia although.. She was right. She should.. She should simply tell him to piss off.
"You wanna sit down?" she asked in a soft voice.
Well.. That wasn't exactly 'piss off', but..

Jason was shocked, did she actually forgive his stupidity that fast? Wow girls never forget and /forgive/ but she did? Thoughts clustered his already crammed mind. His eyebrow arched in a sort of "okkay?" manner. Yeah he'd admit it was a good thing, but then again it usually takes girls days or possibly weeks to forgive..He didn't know girls as well as he thought.
He rose from his booth and slowly walked to her's with a guilty expression. As he sat next to the girl, he became to wonder if it'd ever be the same with eachother again. He sighed. "I know.." he paused thinking of the right words. he began again, "I know, I hurt you..?" he kind of went with the flow, of what he should say. "I know I hurt you, and well I am gonna say sorry, but why are you so sad when we aren't even together?" Maybe not as smooth as he planned..but he got it out. Isn't that all that mattered?
He looked into the girl's eyes.. 'what made her change her mind about me?' he thought silently. He fumbled his fingers once more.Well..

She smiled softly as he sat next to her, glancing at the table. Woah. Was she too nervou to even look at him? Ophe coulnd't belive it how this boy - who she hardly knew - could make her feel all flustered and bothered.
As he started speaking, Ophelia thought about everything. Hm. She hated these serious, over dramatic talks. She wasn't that kind of girl, the one that talks about her feelings and her thoughts. She simply.. talked.
"I know, I hurt you..?"
Duh. That's obvious.
"...but why are you so sad when we aren't even together?"
Ophelia blinked, thinking about what he'd just asked. Umm.. She hadn't expected that question. It was impossible to answer. Well, she knew why - caused she liked him - but she didn't want to tell him that.
"'Cause.." she started, putting words together. "You like, asked me out and stuff.. And then like, kiss this other girl. So.. I was like, pissed, 'cause it seemed you weren't really into me or something.." she muttered, trying not to sound stupid. "It was just.. Bleh. Okay?" she said, looking up at him. "It just felt like you were one of those guys, you know? The kind that goes out with five girls at a time and doesn't really give a shit, and well, I don't wanna be the kind of girl that gets hooked and crushed by that guy."
She sighed softly, retsing her head on his shoulder.
"It was just weird..."

Okay, maybe he did understand but either way it was going to end up bad he could just feel it. He wasn't one of the touchy-feely guys, he hated expressing his feelings just as much as she did. He was know for his slickness, and charm.. not his soft side. Jason knew that he couldn't get attached again, and loose it. He wasn't sure if he was going to stay in New York for awhile. It wasn't even final that he would even live here for a year. So..it was obvious what Jason had to do. Break it off. It was only for the sake of her heart. He couldn't doodle with her for any longer.
Serious talk..one of his weaknesses. He had to over come that. "Ophelia.." he paused with a guilty look upon his face, as if he had just murdered someone."I don't think we should talk or see each other anymore.." he was in no mood to explain himself, but he'd feel as if he didn't have a reason if he didn't tell her. "The thing is..well I'm not sure how long i'll even be in New York..and I'm not the guy to get attached." he said blainly. He tryed pushing his frown into a slight smile, but it did not work.. He wasn't mad, just alittle uneasy about the whole thing. He wasn't the one for her, he wasn't the cozy 'I love you' type. So .. The drama that filled his thoughts every night would soon be gone. He'd forget, and well go on being his Charmful self. Was it so bad?

The blonde listened quietly, but simply gave the boy a small smile after that. Her lips curled into a smirk, as she explained something to him.
"Jason.." she started, her playful smirk still on her rosy red lips. "I /want/ to hang with you, okay? And well, I'm not like other girls.. I won't hold a grudge if you have to leave, I mean, it happens." she said, shrugging slightly. "Besides, you're breakin' up with me before we even went on that first date?" she asked, laughing softly. "That's not very gentleman-like.."
She grinned at Jason, tilting her head slightly to the side. "I just wanna have a good time." she said, trying to put into her own words that she wasn't good at those long relationship and if they could maybe have fun fling before he left, she was okay with that. I mean, it could be short and perfect, right?

He watched her as she began to be happy, and playful as if that's what she wanted to hear. Jason wasn't even close to being gentleman-like, he was actually probably the biggest prick ever. He was self-absorbed, cocky beyond reason..and attracted to any girl that had a nice body and face. He wasn't her type and he knew that. That's why he wanted to break it off before he hurt her worse. Well, if she wanted it that way.
Jason slightly smiled with a deep sigh. "Then how about..a romantic dinner..say just you and me?" he offered. Yeah..he was a charmer that was for sure.

Just as he asked, Olivia came back with her fries. She's stopped to talk with a waitress who went to school with her.
The brunette sat down, blinking at Jason. Who was he? "Um.. Hi." she said quietly, keeping a small smile on her face. A polite smile. A who-the-hell-are-you smile. After all, she'd come and here was this guy, who looked like charmer, with her sister, who was being the big flirt she is.
Ophelia, who has been smirking flirtingly at the boy, about to say something, stopped when her sister came over. She leaned over and grabbed a fry, before introducing him. "This is Jason." she said, ommitting to tell who exactly Jason was. She didn't need to know. "Jason, Olivia, my sister." she said, as Oli nodded. "Ah. Hi, Jason."

Jason smiled in a greeting manner. They both looked so much alike ..geesh He held out a hand to shake hers. "Pleasure" he said his heavy british accent sinking in as he talked.
He looked toward Ophelia "so?" he smiled awaiting an answer so he could leave these two girls in peace.

For some odd reason, this boy didn't rub off very good on Olivia. She looked at him, taking a minute before actually shaking his hand. She's just remembered the name of the boy who'd made her sister cry. And lookie here, he had the same name. Normally she'd said 'pleasure's mine' or something. but she stayed quiet.
Ophelia got the hint her sister wasn't in the 'friendly-friends' mood with Jason. She glanced around, before telling her "Do you if we go for a walk?"
A walk with this guy? She wanted to leave with him?
Olivia sighed, nodding. "Go ahead." The blonde smiled, taking Jason's hand and getting up. She grabbed her red peacoat and put her white beanie on the way.

Jason followed her out, curious as to what she might be telling him. Yeah he got the hint that Ophelia told her the whole story about the bar. As they reached their destination, she finally came out "Ophelia I really think we can't be anymore then friends..sorry" he frowned.. He didn't want to just stay friends .. but it was the only way he wouldn't act a fool again.
Plus she'd probably agree with that. Jason didn't want any attachments

The girl took his hands, pulling him outside. For some unknown reason, she had this song stuck in her head, 'Screwed'. She still held his hands, but had her back against him. She only let go for a moment, which she took to spin around playfully.
The girl had some feeling he didn't really mean that. So she came back in front of him, standing only inches away.
"You sure about that?" she asked with a daring smirk, cocking a brow.

"You are so stubborn" he grunted. She never took no for an answer, she'd just play around. he couldn't even be serious with her. "Yes I mean it." he stated with a flustered look.
He fumbled his fingers around and around curious to why she was soo happy. He couldn't even be playful This was screwed.. and that was for sure, either that or he was screwed . "I can't even be serious with you." he frowned

"I'm not asking to be.." she said, keeping that grin on her face. She didn't want him to be serious or overly romantic. She wanted a good time, was that so hard for him to do?
"Just give me chance." she said, looking up at him with her bright grey eyes. Ophelia had always been pushy like this. She liked this boy and wanted to have a chance to live through that whirl-wind romance you only hear about in the movies. Hah. This probably woulnd't be it, but she wanted to give it - whatever it was - a try.
