The Ice Rink. Zanna hadn't been there in a while. That would probably be the reason for her appearance right now. Probably, but as so many people say, you never really know with Zanna. She's too random to be pinned down and anticipated. Her life, her actions...all that stuff. They just didn't work in the orderly way that so many other people's did.
"Hey, hey, little razorblade, girl you're so so serious you're only pretty when you walk away and you act oblivious but I've got the keys so let's put it into drive but don't call it a crush don't call it a crush, baby you know I love you too much to be crushed like that."
Zanna sang softly along with the words pumping into her ears. This song, Little Razorblade, often reminded her of herself. Not all the time, though, just when she was...in the mood to be reminded of herself...or something.
Ah. And as for clothing and such. Atop her head sat a bright green, and fuzzy, beanie with a furry strip around the bottom. She'd recently gotten the hat as a present, and couldn't help but wear it today--the occasion called for it. Her shirt was the same color as the hat with the image of a heart grenade sitting proudly on the chest. That didn't matter though, since her black Hawthorne Heights hoodie was pulled over it. Her pants were tight, and black, but flared out at the bottom so that her ice skates could fit underneath. And, alas, her ice skates. They were black with glittery green laces. Most people thought they were odd, but she adored them.

Zanna noticed someone eating chocolate and her stomach gave a low grumble. Guess who hadn't eaten yet? If you guessed the one and only Zanna, you'd be correct. She had been so excited about going ice skating that she'd forgotten about the whole needing to eat something deal.
But they had food around here, right? They had to. Or at least a vending machine, perhaps.
Noticing the kiss-girl smile at her, Zanna waved her hand in response, and a miniscule smile formed on her face as well. New friend? She sure hoped so. She loved friends. She adored friends. Well, not really the friends themselves. Just having them.

"Food. Thanks," Zanna said, about to skate away to go get some of the food mentioned when the girl spoke once more. This time, she said her name, which was always helpful. It was hard enough for Zanna to remember people, let alone when they hadn't given her a name to put the face with.
"I'm Zanna," she said simply. Then, as an afterthought, added, "Arquett. Zanna Arquett." How James Bond did she sound? Rather, she thought, but her thoughts were often distorted and strayed from reality. Today could be different, though. You never know.

"Dory? I love her! She sort of reminds me of myself sometimes because I don't remember things very easily," Zanna said, smiling happily and doing a small dance. She knew. She was weird. The word, though, it didn't phase her any more. It had been said to her so many times, it was just the same as 'Hello'. In her book.
"Oh no. It's fine. Food can wait. But I need more friends." Well that was a way to put it bluntly. No getting to know her first. Just smacking it down that she was hoping to become friends with the girl--Megan. Haha! She's remembered her name.

"Good," Zanna stated simply. "I sometimes get tired of the whole getting to know someone before becoming their friend thing, so I decided to do it backwards this time," she added, gently nodding her head as she slipped her hands into the oversized pocket on her hoodie.
"Alright. Sounds like a plan to me," she replied, grinning again and patting her stomach lightly.
What. A. Weirdo.

"Mhm." Zanna could think of nothing better to say in response, and that had been the first idea to pop into her head, so out it came. Sometimes it happened like that--she'd go blank, and then say whatever came into her head next. The first time it had happened, it had been quite embarassing, but she'd gotten her first boyfriend out of it.
The times after that had not been nearly as precursory, or memorable. Just. Boring.
"So are you new here, or have I just missed seeing you around? Or..well. Nevermind. I'm new too, so I guess I wouldn't. Nevermind. Just. Are you new?" she asked, shaking her head. The thoughts had all poured into her head at once, and she coudn't figure out which ones to say.
