Ophelia's eyes widen as she saw the side-kick, grinning.
"Daaamn.." she said, giggling softly. "You've got it hooked up, don't you?" she told the girl, typing her cellphone number in. "Ew. My cellphone's prehistoric." she said, laughing softly as she handed back the gadget to the girl.
She noticed the boy who came over, batting her long, mascara-covered eyelashes at him innocently. He was cute. Very cute.
But then again, Ophelia thought that about nearly every guy she met.
"It's true." she said, agreeing with what Darcy had said. "I'm Ophelia." she told him, introducing herself with a playful smirk.

Darcy smiled and put it back into her pocket "I guess so" She had never really thought about it that way before. She had only gotten it because it was cute and it was way fun to text on. She saw Ophelia checking out Eric. She giggled a little bit but caught herself, to make up for it she said "Uh, anyone want to start a skating chain?"
ooc;; Icky, it's short. =P

"Okay then," Eric murmured, his smile extending just a bit. "Pleasure," he told Ophelia, upon being introduced to her, taking into account her playful smirk...which he returned to some extent. "Deniel. Eric Deniel," he informed, hands currently placed within his back pockets. He didn't make any move to extend a palm for either of them to shake. Looking towards the other two girls, he waited for either of them to share their names as well. He didn't ask though, figuring they'd give it if they really wanted to.
As the 'nameless' girl offered for them to create a skating chain, he politely declined. "No thanks. I'm liable to cause one of you to fall on your ass," he smirked, skating backwards from them a bit, only to return -- he was only giving himself something to do. He'd been honest though, about why he didn't want to form a chain. For some reason or another, he was better off by himself. That was probably the determining factor as to why track had been a major part of his life. He didn't work well in groups, outside of conversation. "We can just skate though, if you guys are tired of standing around," he suggested, lifting and dropping his shoulders in the tiniest of shrugs.
"So you guys new around here?" he inquired, genuinely curious. He seemed to be posing that question a lot lately...

Ophelia jumped up and down, clapping her hands excitedly like five-year-old.
"Ohmigod!" she said quickly, grinning. "We should totally do that!"
So yeah, the girl could be sometimes /over/excited about stuff, but that was part of her carefree charm. Her grin soon dissapeared as Eric declined the offer. Ophelia pouted, looking over at him with puppy dog eyes.
"Awww.. C'mon, it'll be fun!" she told him, grabbing the boy's hand, squeezing it softly as she motioned for the middle of the ice rink. She glanced at Darcy, trying to get her to help convince him.
Because, well, an ice chain at three coulnd't be much fun.

Darcy shrugged and began to skate as she said "Your loss." She watched as Ophelia grabbed Eric's hand. They would be a cute couple, no doubt about it. Courtney gained some speed and did her favorite move, an axel.
When she was spinning it gave her the feeling as if she was on the top of the world. Darcy landed gracefully then skated back over to the group "I needed to get at least on of those in."

She passed by the group just as the only male was introducing himself. And the way he did it made her quickly think of James Bond and her thoughts were soon on Casino Royal which she'd seen a little while back. As Lynette continued skating she considered doing one of the few moves that she knew, but would that be considered showing off? She didn't think so because there was about a 50% chance that she'd ace it, and then there was the other 50% in which she'd fall on her butt. Which wouldn't be any fun, and slightly embarrassing but she was willing to give it a try. Finally moving she soon did a layback spin, her hands in front of her to the point where the tips of her fingers were touching in an 'o' shape, and just as soon as she'd done it she returned to skating normally. Well good, she didn't fall on her butt and that had been kind of fun, but she wouldn't do it again for a while or else she'd look a lot like a little kid, which isn't what she was aiming for today.

Gently quirking his brow, Eric lowered his gaze to the hand which had taken hold of his. Someone had an exuberant personality. Looking towards the brunette, who still hadn't provided her name, he watched her land her axel and decided she wasn't half bad on the ice. Patiently though, he waited for his question to be answered, realizing that both of them were too caught up in this ice chain thing to probably even hear what he had to say. Oh well, it wasn't important. Not really.
"Why not. Just don't blame me if either of you fall," he finally agreed, keeping hold of the girl's hand and putting his hand out to the other girls, thinking whichever of the two wanted to take his hand was fine by him. If neither of them did, so be it. Whatever. As long as this chain didn't last longer than probably one round around the rink.

She watched Darcy skate away and glanced back at Eric, wondering if she should let go of his hand. Although, it did feel nice holding it.
She smiled at the girl as she came back, saying "That was so cool." Ophelia had never been able to jump like that, not on the ice at least. On rollerskates maybe, if she was careful.
As the boy finally agreed, she jumped again excitedly. Laughing, she smirked, "I promise I won't." she said at his comment. She suddenly remembedred his first question and gave him a similar answer as she'd given Darcy. "I just moved back." she said, smiling. The girl started skating softly, wantng to get this ice chain started.

Darcy took hold of Ophelia's hand and started the chain. With each step she gained a little more speed, but she didn't go to fast because she didn't know these peoples level of ability. Not everyone had trophies at home for the sport.
When she came to the first turn she lent into in and said "Hold on." She was going to try to go out into the middle of the rink, to test there balance.

"Ahhh, okay," Eric nodded, blowing into his free hand. As the chain began, he moved along with them, not too sure why this was considered 'fun'. He wasn't going to rain on their parade though, and therefore just glided, ensuring not to topple over by mistake and causing the others to go crashing to the ice as well. That wouldn't feel too nice, but at least Ophelia said she wouldn't hold it against him if that happened. Good, because he hadn't been interested in doing this in the first place.
Merely nodding at the brunette's statement for them to 'hold on', he allowed them to be carried to the middle, not thinking there was much 'skill' involved. He didn't speak, not wanting to distract them and make them lose their balance. 'One round and this will all be over with,' he thought.
Ooc:||Grawr. Short again. And not to mention it sucks. Sue me >.>

Darcy brought them to the middle and let go of Ophelia's hand as she said "Okay, I'm bored." She sighed as she put her hands into her pockets. She looked around the rink and released why she had came here in the first place. She should have been practicing her Christmas show.
Her routine was okay, she hadn't put much effort into the moves because she wasn't really feeling the comption. She had literally picked a song out of an old baseball cap and stuck with it. Since it was a Christmas show she put in all Christmas songs and came out with Santa Baby..
