So, here is how everything was going down.
Kerstin felt the need to do something with her life; feeling as if she was doing nothing productive, and knowing her dream of being a photograph was something that would only be left as, well, a dream.
The thought occurred to her that she may have had a change to become a rising star in the modeling agency, though, she doubted it. She may not have been as beautiful or skinny as most of the other girls in New York, but she believed she had a slim chance, anything would be better than doing nothing with her life anyways.
‘Deep breaths, babe.’ She constantly reminded herself, stepping into the lovely, air-conditioned building of M&T. This was it. She wasn’t sure exactly how the day was going to end, or even start for that matter, but she’d give it all, the attitude, the looks...all she had.
Across the carpeted floor, Kerstin’s black pumps patted lightly, yet firmly.
Her smile was big, showing her pearly whites with confidence running through it. She chose an interesting, yet formal, outfit that morning, knowing her plan from the start.
She wore a beige skirt that hugged her figure and stopped just a little above her scrawny knees. Covering her torso was a buttoned up white blouse, a fur-lined orange-colored coat covering the most part of it.
Her hair was at its usually, light curls ruffling at her shoulders and down her back, perked up slightly by the hood of the coat she sported.
She approached the front desk, eyeing the lady who accompanied it with the same, bright smile.
“I’d like to speak with Mercedes Tritoni, if you will.” She spoke, letting her eyes prance away from the being and towards the walls of the building. Many photos of beautiful, gorgeous models hung about.
The room had a certain spark, a nice vibe. It was lovely, really. It made Kerstin smile, feeling as if she was soon to be a part of it all, though, she could be wrong. She’d see how the ‘meeting’ went. Who knew, she may not even be able to get a meeting in, Mercedes could be busy...what was she thinking coming into this?
Her mind drifted to the very thoughts. No, she wasn’t going to set negative things upon herself, this was going to be a positive experience...she felt it.
