Cute, sophisticated and so Lynette. The whole outfit was Versace, but you couldn't really expect any less from Lynette. A pair of black leggings were worn on her tiny legs, and a black turtle neck as well, a black jacket was worn over the turtle neck and buttoned up to the point where it looked kinda like a dress the way it flared out a little bit at the bottom. Black boots were also worn, going up to her knees and it made her 5'4 height reach just south of 5'7. Which made her rather happy, as I'm sure you can guess. That dark brown hair of hers was pulled back into a slick pony tail, her hair which was naturally wavy was straightened today. Stepping inside, she didn't undo the jacket just yet, for the tiny frame of the female was still chilled to the bone by the temperature outside. She made her way to the end of the line though to wait for that green tea she'd come to get.

Austin walked through the doors of the cafe, the warm, moist, coffee scented air hit him hard in the face as it rushed out the door, towards the bitter cold of the city. He stepped inside, taking a quick survey of the place, seeing not many people around.
He sauntered up to the counter and smiled devilishly at the cute brunette behind the counter, chatting her up as she made his coffee. Black, no sugar. He paid, and the walked over to a large mocha brown armchair, a table away from an interesting looking girl. She believed her name was Lynette.

Lynette's gaze shifted out the window to the sidewalk as she took a sip of her tea before she focused her attention back onto her sidekick which she'd set down on the table for a moment. She'd gotten some long text message moments before and now that she read it was in the process of replying to it.
It really said nothing all that important, just one of her friends wanting to hang out tonight, of course if she did it wouldn't be until much later, because Lynette wasn't anywhere close to going out anywhere except for this cafe, or shopping...or something. But yeah, she wasn't really in the shopping mood at the moment.

Austin didn't know why he found himself here a lot. He didn't even like coffee, especially not black. It was bitter, and made him jumpy, yet he still drank it. Coffee was a sign of status in this town, everyone drank coffee, and so did Austin.
He felt a little warm so he took off his chocolate brown blazer and slung it across the back of the armchair. Today he adorned a tight lime green Ralph Lauren polo with the collar popped, with a pair of Diesel jeans. He looked good.
He glanced over at Lynette and decided it was time he said something. "What's your poison?" He gestured towards her drink and let his lips curve like the cheshire cat, into a to-die-for smile.

Lynette's thoughts went from her nights plans to what she was drinking. "Green tea." she replied simply. His smiling made her think back to the days when Alice in Wonderland was her favorite book and how she thought the Cheshire Cat was too eerie for a childerns book. That's what he reminded her of, and already she wasn't sure if she liked him all that much at the moment.

"Sounds good." He looked the girl up and down. Not usually the type of girl he went for, she was a bit...well, he didn't know how to describe it. His type was more like Heather, but hey, a girl is a girl, is a girl. He ran his fingers through his dirty blonde hair as he watched out the window. "I love when the weather's like this. The winter is the best time of year, especially in the city. I love wandering down 5th Ave and just looking at all the tourists, and seeing the window displays."

Lynette's eyebrow's rose slightly as she listened to him speak, her gaze once again returning to him. Why did he /really/ like wandering 5th Ave. He didn't seem like the kind of guy who'd like seeing the window displays, maybe the pretty girls who might be caught catching looks at the window displays. "I don't know, I'm more of a fall person, the park is so pretty in the fall." she replied then with that light French accent of hers, which had faded a bit over the past two and a half years.
