He laughed and made himself comfortable every now and then he'd grab a hand full of popcorn and eat it carefully so none got onto the couch. He stifle a yawn and kept watching the movie. Tvs always made him yawn, even when he was anything but sleepy.

Trying hard not to fall asleep, she held her eyes wide open, and tried to focus on the plot line of the movie. It wasn't really that the movie was boring her, it was just that watching movies made her want to sleep, especially when it was dark. Once, in seventh grade, she'd fallen asleep while the whole grade'd watched Aristocats--in Spanish. |

Anthony didn't notice that Zanna was falling asleep. He was getting into the movie. But he eventually looked over at her, noticing she was falling asleep. "You are trying so hard not to fall asleep aren't you?"He asked raising an eyebrow at her.

"Yes. Very hard. It's not working very well, but I'm hanging in there," she replied, stifling a yawn and leaning her cheek against her hand, which was attatched to her arm, which was leant against the arm of the sofa. It was just one big mechanical system. Sort of. "Don't worry. If I do fall asleep, I don't snore," she added, chuckling lightly. |

"If you need a pillow. I've been told by my mothers friends kids that I'm comfy."He said "I won't worry, I'll like. Lay you down cover you up and leave quietly so you can rest."He said nodding. He looked back to the movie and yawned because well when someone else yawned. He yawned.

"No. Because if you leave, and I'm laying on you, I'll wake up and be a grouch. So this is better. Plus, I think the movie might be over soon anyway. Once it's over, I won't be too tired anymore," she said, not actually sure how far along it was. But she could say it was to make herself feel better. |

He chuckled and smiled. "Okay okay. I'll be a good pillow and stay put until the movie is over. Or until we both pass out and wake up tomarrow."He said chuckling some more. "Now. Get some rest."He said.

"I'm fine. Seriously. Just...yea. Watch the end of the movie," she said, trailing off as her eyes gently fluttered closer and closer together. Why couldn't she ever stay awake through one whole movie--at home? She managed at the theater, because she didn't think it was aloud to sleep there, but when she was at home...it didn't work as well. |

He giggled and went back to watching the move content to lean agaisnt the couch propping his head up. He would be have and stay until the movie was done. Then. When the movie went off if she didn't wake up he'd lay her down and go home. Simple enough, right?

Zanna just slept. And then slept some more. And then a couple of minutes, or so she though, before the movie was over, she woke up again. Looking at the clock, she realized her nap, if you wanted to call it that, had only been fifteen minutes or so. Not as long as she'd though, actually. |

"Go back to sleep silly. You still have twenty minutes left in the movie. I'll wake up when its done. Okay?"He said laughing softly. He hadn't taken his eyes off the screen but he could tell she was awake. It was just one of those things he could do.

"Alright," she said, sighing, yawning, then closing her eyes again. At least he liked the movie. Zanna probably would too, if she'd actually taken the time to watch it. She twisted her neck a little, trying to get comfortable. It didn't really work, but if she woke up with a pain in her neck, it'd be her fault. |

The rest of the movie went by in a flash he enjoyed it. It was enough to keep him calm and awake. Which was a major feat from a movie. He leaned over to Zanna and nudge her arm gently. "Movies over Zan Ban."He said yes, he had made a nickname finally. He loved to nickname people, well not anyone but his best friends.

Opening her eyes again, she managed a small smile and a nod. "Okay. So, are you leaving now?" she asked, only to know, though, not that she actually cared whether he stayed or left. "Zan Ban," she repeated, her voice slow and groggy, "I like it." |
