[Zanna Arquett]

Zanna couldn't help it and dropped to the ground as well. Since Tori'd been leaning against her, she too fell down as well. Between laughs, she said, "Well. No offense to them, but if they believe that they're not quite the brightest crawyon in the box." Her? Karate? She'd tried it once, but had done so horribly she cried to her mother until she was allowed to quit.

"Well. At least I know they run away for a reason...I thought they just sorta hated me," she said, smiling relievedly, after having calmed her laughing. Tori was still giggling slightly, but hers was silent, and not obvious at all. She just sort of...moved a little bit and had a smile on her face. But then she stopped as well.

"Karate," Zanna repeated one more time, shaking her head. "Well how come you told them I could beat them up?"

[Ant & Ash Conan]

Anthony stepped back not sure rather to be afraid or not.
"Er, are you okay?"He asked
"They aren't really."Anthony said holding out a helping hand to either of them.
"Cause they've known me since I was little, and they've known Ash since he was thirteen, but they don't know you real well, and I'm always finding my self around you so you became my karate teacher."Anthony said clapping his hands together and bowing like a monk.
"Oh sensei spare your wisdom to your young grass hopper?"Ant asked laughing. He put his hand out for either of them again. Ashton stood up laughing at the thought of Zanna kicking the other's asses.
"I don't see it, Zanna take on what, a six foot, two hundred pound guy? Even I can't do that and I'm bigger than her. Er, no offense Zan Ban."Ash said bitting his lip ring and eyeing the two older boys as they passed the football from chair to chair.
"And Jesse is normally really smart!"Ant said laughing.

[Zanna Arquett]

"We're fine. Well. I'm fine," said Zanna, using his hand to stand up and pulling Tori up as well.
"I'm fine too," the small girl said softly.
"I just figured I would sit down so that I wouldn't fall down laughing," Zanna said, as though everyone did it. She knew most people did it, but it was only as though they did. [[My friends really does this. ^^]]

"I suppose I can let you in a couple of the secrets," Zanna said, nodding what she figured looked wisely. Tori laughed at this, since it looked pretty far from wise--more along the lines of just plain strange. 'Course, that's what Zanna was, so it was all good.

"Yea. I couldn't imagine myself doing it either. 'Specially not against a big guy like him. And plus, I hate fighting with people. I don't like bruises," Zanna said, subconciously rubbing her arm as she spoke. Not only were bruises painful, but they were also pretty ugly. And distracting. But mainly, they hurt.

"I want to do something fun!"Ashton whimpered leaning on Ant and doing his famous pout and puppy dog eyes.
"Can we do something fun, please?"Ash whined again. Anthony shrugged "What do you have in mind, doll?"Ant asked.
"I want Logan."Ash whimpered
"Be right back."Ash said as he remembered Logan was with Kevin and Jesse down behind the cooler and impossible to see.
"Logan, schnell schnell!"Ash said running up and grabbing a ball jumping the cooler like a hurtle and running back with Logan leaping up and behind Ash.
"Fetch!"Ashton said throwing the ball as far as he could and watching as Logan ran off.
"Fun enough for you?"Ant asked as Ash shimmyed his way over to them laughing.

Tori chuckled. The boy looked to be a lot over herself, and yet he was pouting in way that Tori wouldn't even if she acted her age. Zanna acted like that sometimes too, though, so perhaps that was why the group of people were friends. They all like to screw off together and act younger than they were?

"Aw. He's cute," she cooed. "It is a he, right?" she asked. She, of course, was speaking of the dog she saw. Logan, or something?
Aha. She was beginning to warm up. Finally.

"Hehe. I believe you shimmy better than I do," Zanna said, smiling as she looked at Ashton making his way back to them. "You're gonna have to teach me, kay?" she asked, looking at him with a hopeful grin.

[Ant & Ash Conan]

"Yup yup. Thats a guy, I hope.. Unless Ant's been screwing with me. But I doubt he has so yeah, its a he."Ashton said laughing as the dog came loping back over his big German Sheperd head lifted high and his whole body wagging.
"Its all thanks to HelloGoodbye my dear Zanna."Ashton said.
"Sure, come over sometime and I'll show you."He said laughing. Antony laughed as he tried to grab the ball from Logan's mouth but failing horrible as the dog jumped away walking behind Tori and Zanna.
"Darn dog."Antony muttered wipeing his hand on his knee
"If I can tackle down Kevin I'm sure as heck able to catch a dog."Ant said cracking his knuckles.Antony laughed as Logan backed up walking around the group wagging his tail and dareing them to get the ball from his mouth. Ashton being quick on his feet grabbed up a stick and threw it causing Logan to drop the ball and run for the stick giving Ashton time to pick the ball up.
"God I love having thumbs, and a big brain."Ash said popping his shirt like he was gangster.

[Zanna Arquett]

Tori smiled. These people were funny--she understood why Zanna hung out with them. They seemed pretty nice, too. And plus, Zanna seemed to like one of them, as well. The Ant-one. Whatever his name was. She found it sort of cute, which was again opposite, that her sister had a crush. She also wondered why Zanna didn't just do something about it. Sitting back and doing nothing was so sixth grade. And yes. Tori knew that sixth graders were only a year or two younger than her...but still.

"Good. You better be patient though, 'cause I'm not the best dancer, and I don't learn dance moves very quickly," Zanna advised, looking warningly at the boy with glasses. "Big brain?" she teased, smirking. She would have spewed on and on about how the size of a human's or animal's brain was, simply how it functioned. But she didn't.
She didn't to steal Tori's genius position after all.

[Ant & Ash Conan]

"Antony come here!"Kevin yelled turning around and grinning wickedly. Anthony went wide eyed ducking down behind Zanna and Tori. Kevin eyed them for a moment then turned back around laughing at something Jesse said. Popping back up Antony laughed.
"See what I mean, you work! Its like, instant Kevin be gone!"Antony said laughing as he jumped on Ashton bringing both of them down intot he snow. "I don't mind, I can be patient... I think."Ash said sitting up.
"Yes big brain. See?"Ash asked putting his fist together.
"I heard, somewhere that your brain is the size of your fist, but my fists aren't that big.. Er, I'm just going to shut up."Ashton said taking a piece of his white hair and spinning it around his index and middle finger stareing at his long piano finger hands.
"I have piano fingers."Ashton said just noticing this. Anthony sat up and compared his hands to Ash's, his fingers weren't as long and elegant, and they were short nailed because of his guitar playing.
"Hey, why wait until next time she comes to show her the band, we can show her it today!"Anthony said nodding towards Tori and looking up at them.
"Our family is still here, and we've had to play for them for the past two days, and tonight will be the same. Why don't you two come? As our guest?"Antony added

The two sisters chuckled, rolling their eyes. Boys could be highly stupid sometimes, especially when they actually believed that a girl who was only about 5'6" or 5'7" could take them on. Even if the girl could do karate, the 6' + boys would still have a huge advantage. Both height, and wing span. Since their arms would each be about three inches longer than Zanna's, they'd be able to reach her before she could reach them.

"Patience is virtue," Zanna said, though she wasn't even sure what that meant. She had pretty much only said it because it had the word patience in it, and that was what they were speaking about right now. Good enough reason, right?

The girls both looked at their own fingers, but they didn't know what 'piano fingers' were. They figured they had to be long and...dainty? Delicate? Something like that. Neither of their fingers looked very piano-ish. Not at all. Or perhaps their image of 'piano fingers' was distorted. Either way, they didn't have them.

Tori looked up at Zanna with a hopeful expression on her face.
"Well," the older girl began, "She's supposed to get picked up in an hour or so, but I'm sure I could convince my parents that she could spend the night or something. Or. You know, give them money and tell them to go to dinner. I'll think of something. Sure. We'll come." The blue-eyed girl grinned brightly. Even though she'd never heard the band, and wasn't too much of a music-listener, she was excited.

"Ek!"Ashton squeaked out as Anthony hit him in the back of the head with a snowball.
"No fair!"Ash whined standing up and shaking himself off
. "Sheiza."Ashton muttered running a hand through his hair and shaking out the rest of the snow.
"What is ma gonna say to that?"Ash asked sticking his tongue out and jumping backwards as Anthony made a grab for his legs. Crouching down Anthony watched Ashton dance around him laughing.
"You wish!"Ant yelled as he tackled the boy to the ground.
"Ha! Who's the best football player now boy? Wait, is Leah gonna be there tongiht?"Ant asked standing up, pulling Ash up as he did so.
"Well, its family, and she's family, so I'm thinkin' yes."Ash said shrugging.

[Zanna Arquett]

"Sheiza?" Tori asked.
Zanna gasped--a word she didn't know. It was shocking, considering the girl spoke three languages and knew huge words that most adults didn't know. So for once, she almost felt smarter than her. For a little bit, at least. She savored the feeling, small grin appearing on her face. She'd let the boys answer Tori's question--it was Ashton who'd said the word after all.

"Whose Leah?" Zanna asked, looking from up from the snow interestedly. Tori took that moment to throw a clump of snow at her sister, since she'd been focused on someone else. Zanna, however, didn't toss a ball back. She just gave her sister a weary look and said, "I'll getchya when you least expect it."
Creepy, eh?

"Er, nothing."Ashton said trying to grab Logan but failing as the dog dashed off back to Jesse and Kevin. "Ugh, darn dog."Ashton muttered rubbing his hand and moving from side to side. "Thats a threat?"Ashton asked.
"Thats a threat"Antony rolled his eyes and nodded as he said this.
"Zanna threat!"Ashton yelled laughing as he turned around in a sort of stupid dance.
"Hey Ash, what are you going to sing, now that your parents are here?"Anthony asked looking at Ashton with an eyebrow cocked. Ashton slowly stopped spinning and laughed.
"Something emo-ish, like Mama, or Dead!, something MCR maybe? Who knows, or this.."Ashton said tapping a beat in the air and thinking up the lyrics.
"Hey girl you know you drive me crazy!

Face down in the dirt she says "this doesn't hurt""Ashton sang it perfectly his eyes closed as he thought out the beat to it and sang it laughing everynow and then and ruining that part of the song, but always making up for it.

"Are you the singer of the band?" Tori asked, "Because you're good." And she wasn't lying to butter anyone up either. If he wasn't the singer, he should be, but he didn't seem like he played any other instruments, so he probably was. Unless he was the keyboardist--bands sometimes had those, right?

Zanna nodded in an answer to the first question, and became quiet as Ashton started to sing. She assumed a good singing gene ran in the Conan family, or something, because they were both really good. "You guys are both good singers. It makes me rather jealous," she said, sticking her lip out in a small pout. "And you can shimmy," she added.

Tori rolled her eyes at her sister's whining, and Zanna playfully punched her in the arm. Ahh sisterly love. It was so beautiful...well. It was when they were actually sisterly loving. Not punching each other.

"Yup, along with a friend of ours."Ashton said smiling.
"Thanks!"He said jumping on Anthony's back resting his head on Anthony's shoulder as Ant stumbled slightly.
"Ashton! God, what the heck get off my back!"Antony said trying to push the boy off him by elbowing him. It didn't work to well but Ash eventually slid off pouting and looking like he was about to cry but then, like always something caught his eye.
"Eh, he's better than me, but I hit the high notes, we balance each other out."Ant said laughing as Ashton spun around in the snow trying to keep track of his footsteps.
"I shimmy!"Ashton said laughing. Yes he was very aware she had just said that, he just felt like saying it himself as he fell on his ass in the snow. Antony laughed at the two of them "You act like me and Ash!"Antony said laughing.

[Zanna Arquett]

"Yea, Ashton, geez. His back is mine," said Zanna poking her tongue out at the boy. "Well. In my mind, anyway," she added, chuckling a little bit. What fun, afterall, was a dinosaur that you couldn't get piggy back rides from? It was no fun. And Antony was her emo dinosaur. So she had to ride on his back. It was written in a handbook somwhere--she knew it.

Tori smiled slightly. "I noticed. Are you two brothers or something?" she asked, pointing from Antony to Ashton and back again, then dropping her hand to the side and leaning against Zanna. The girls fought a lot, but they were there for each other, usually, and they sometimes liked each other. Luckily, today was one of those times.

Zanna looked at the ground again. She wanted to make a snow angel. It would look sort of weird, though, if she just dropped to the ground and started flapping her arms and legs, though.
