"Well, appearances can lie, right?" she said, keeping her attitude very truthful. "You look... twenty-five." she guessed, raising a brow. "Am I totally wrong?" she said with a laugh. "I suck at guessin' ages. I mean, I think all small kids are ten or five."
"You still haven't told me who /you/ are.." she said, finishing her drink.

"I'm Alex" he introduced. "Twenty-one, although I look older..attractively of course" he laughed with his cocky side. He wasn't really one for blondes but maybe he could make an exception. She really didn't know who she was messing with. He was stubborn, stuck-up and well sometimes a complete dick.
He examined her and finally accepting that she just might be twenty. "So If I looked that old, why'd you come sit by me?" he teased knowing that was alittle too old for her.

She raised a brow, as if she was surprised how cocky he sounded. This coming from the guy who'd managed to choke out a 'hello' earlier? Woah. "Of course." she added with a slight sarcastic tone.
"I don't care much age." she said, before adding "Besides, /you/ smiled /me./" she said confidently, grinning.

Wow..she was quite the smartass. "Well, maybe I should go" he said as his cup was suddenly empty. He was that interested in her much.. Well he was but he couldn't let her know that. Plus she was well..oh well.
He cleared his throat and began to get up in attempt to leave.

She pouted jokingly, as she saw him get up. She would've followed after him, but she got the feeling he wasn't interested. Awwh. Well, it would be his loss anyways. She suddenly rememvered one little thing, a certain invitation that had come to her house that morning.
"Hey, wait." she said, only keeping him for a minute more. "You goin' to the Ball thingie for Christmas?"

Alex looked back as she spoke. "Uhh..not sure, I was invited though" he replied still attempting to walk away. He was interested but she was a bit too easy for him.. He didn't like girls handed to him on a silver platter. He liked them mysterious and difficult kind-of different then other guys who prefered whores.
He turned then thought for a moment before leaving. Alex turned back around. "And , " he paused thinking of the right words.."I smiled at you first, because I thought you were cute" he replied to her comment..but maybe alittle too late.

Whore?
He had no idea who she was. Well, he /had/ just met her. And as for the 'easy' part, well. She could be, depending on the boy. But you coulnd't blame her, it was all part of her carefree, playful nature. If only she could read his thoughts, then she'd be able to defend her first impression.
"And I smiled back." she said, giving him a nod. Sort of a 'see ya' nod.

It isn't that he thought of her as a whore..It's just she seemed easy and well if he met up with her again it'd be pure destiny ..And he'd give her a chance. Alex liked risks too so if he lost her and never seen her again..then soo be it. It wasn't love at first sight ..because he was complete dick.. It'd not that he believed in love much but oh well..
"Bye" he said while pulling the door's handle

"Ciao, babe." she said, quickly putting back her earbuds back on.
"And the band played on..." she said to herself as she pressed play.
