"Born and raised right here," Eric stated once Liz had answered as well, shrugging lightly. New York wasn't where his roots lay though. His parents and their ancestors were from France actually. They had their reasons for moving though, but he wasn't about to discuss that with practical strangers. Plus, they hadn't exactly asked, and he didn't feel the need to spill random, pointless facts. "Why'd you move from Brazil?" he directed the question to Ryeland, somewhat interested to know. Dreams? A new beginning? Because of her family? Or something else? That is, if she cared to share. It could be something bad, and she'd rather keep it to herself...
"My day's going well, I suppose," he murmured. "I mean, it's just began. And besides the falling out of bed then being bitten by my mom's dog Hank, I couldn't be anymore peachy," he flashed a grin briefly. "So I figured, I'd get out for a bit. Those little mutts of hers are evil. I'm convinced." They were a reflection of their owner though... Hmm. "And you two? Enjoying the day?" It was only polite to ask them the same question. Plus, it was a way to get everyone, besides him, saying more than five words.

Ryeland smiled as he asked..Atleast she knew he was a bit interested? She pushed a few loose strands of hair before answering. "Well, A fresh start as a young adult..mostly" she paused wondering if she should say more. "And to expand my modeling career" she finished as a slight smile appeared across her face, feeling alot more comfortable with him.
She laughed. "Evil dogs eh?" She questioned with an arched eyebrow.
She took her final sip of her drink, then noticed that it was already empty..She looked around wondering if the waitress might come back.

She finally decided to try to take a sip of the tea again and ended up taking a small sip and found that it hadn't burned her mouth and as I'm sure one can guess was more then happy. "Evil dogs...falling out of bed...sounds like what my mornings used to consist of when I lived with my parents." she commented with a small smile as she thought of him getting bitten by the dog. She just couldn't help but picture it, she imagined it had been quite humorous to anyone who'd seen. "My morning's been fine...thanks." she said then commenting on his question which he'd returned after Ryeland had asked it.

"Modelling huhn? Are the both of you models?" Second person he'd met in two days who was involved in that career. In fact, most girls he encountered in New York had that dream. Only the lucky few would make it big though... A smirk tilted Eric's lips, and he nodded to both. "They have this nasty habit of sneaking into my room...I still haven't figured out how they get in there yet," he mused, looking thoughtful for a second. Maybe his mom was the culprit... Or Alex. "Anyway. I love dogs, but those three would make anybody re-consider getting one as a pet. Pure evil...attention-seeking. Always trying to outdo each other. I accidentally lost one of them while taking them out for a walk the other day," he informed, looking the picture of pure innocence. Accidentally my ass. He'd done it intentionally...but sadly, Mitzy had found her way back home. Sad happening, but a good thing. His mom hard been way frantic.
Setting his half-empty cup of coffee back down unto the table, he finally asked, "So why modelling?" Did they just need a quick way to get some cash? Or probably it was a childhood dream they were fulfilling. He himself didn't know what the hell he wanted to do with his life. Someday, he'd figured it out. Someday soon, he hoped.

"It has always been a passion I suppose" she responded to his question. "Although it does not seem appealing..It is a joy." Ryeland smiled..this was true. She loved it, even though it was very difficult..she couldn't see herself doing anything differently. You see .. She was very optimistic, and to give-up on something because it was hard..or tiring was not an option. She shot a glance at him with a smile. He was just as curious as her. It didn't bother her though.
The waitress came by to pick up any empty dishes.. she nodded friendly toward the people, picking up any dirty cups. "Can I get you some more?" she asked Ryeland with a cheesy smile.
"Yes please, the same" she said with one glance then shifting back toward Elizabeth and Eric.

Modeling had never been her life long dream. She thought it would be fun, and she'd always been into high fashion. "My sister works for Vogue...and she pulled some strings.." she said with a pause. "It was never my life long dream or anything..I just thought it would be fun." Liz finished, responding to his question. "Do you work or anything...or do you go to school here...or are you undecided?" She kinda spat out the three questions rather quickly but that was Liz for ya'.

Ooc:||Late reply...sorry.
Bic:||"Ahh, Vogue. That's cool," Eric told Elizabeth with a smile. His mother was a fan of that magazine, he knew. Well, she was a fan with all the big name ones, trying to get tips and such from inside. "Naw, not working right now. I've graduated high school, and only just trying to figure out what to do with my life. So I guess I'm on an extended break," he stated, now just absently turning his empty styrofoam cup atop the table. "You say modelling isn't a lifelong dream...Do you have one?" he asked, and meaning of her aspirations/goals. Surely she wasn't as hopeless as him when it came to which path to take in life.
He wasn't going to remain at the coffee house too long, especially none since his cup was finished. But he didn't have any plans for after he left either. Maybe the girls would like to go somewhere else after? If they weren't busy. He wouldn't ask though, as they'd only just met. "What are your hobbies? For when you aren't posing for pictures or on a runway?" This question was directed at both ladies, of course.

She nodded knowingly as she listened to what he had to say. "Yeah, pretty much the same thing for me too." she said then. "The whole modeling thing is for fun and money right now, I'm still trying to decide on a school and a major." she replied. She was pretty much positive that she'd be able to get into almost any school of her choosing.
Her grades did permit it, they were quite amazing actually. Her hand then moved up to her hair as she ran a hand through it to get it out of her left eye for a moment and then she took another sip/gulp of her tea. "Hobby wise I'd have to say painting and writing." she said then and paused. "And if you consider reading a hobby then that too...what about yourself?" she questioned him then, as her gaze shifted up from her tea to him as she gave him an answer and returned the question to him.
