Literally swinging himself around, Cameron abruptly stopped on one foot, coming close to dropping both gifts. When he had turned only to face Adrienne, he sat the gifts atop the table beside him and smiled towards her. He didn’t even bother to answer her questioning of ‘guess who?’ Was that pitiful or what? Cameron, that is. A lock of his bangs fell into his eyes, causing him to reach up and remove them from his sight by tucking them behind his ear. It was no use though, for they simple fell back into the position again.
“Hey.” He said casually towards Adrienne, wrapping her into a friendly hug. “You look good.” He commented with a glance back at Kerstin, who had looked away and didn’t seem to care much about what her brother got into for the rest of the night. Returning his view back to Adrienne, he noted that she had no gift in her hands, but thought that maybe she had already set it down somewhere. He didn’t know, but it was her business as to whether she had brought one or not. He believed that Cede and Adrienne had never been exactly ‘close’, but neither was he to Cede, nor was Kerstin.
ooc: Cameron post.

Heather entered the Underground, with the heels of her stripper-esque Escada pumps click-click-clicking on the floor of the club, in time with the obnoxiously loud music. In her freshly french manicured hand (a black playboy bunny airbrushed on each ring finger, of course) she held a gift bag which contained Cede's present. It was the latest black leather Marc Jacobs handbag, and inside was Cede's favorite perfume, Princess by Vera Wang.
The second part of her present to Mercedes was wearing a playboy bunny outfit to the party. So there she was, decked out in a black playboy bunny outfit like the Playmate's themselves, white cottontail and all. Her 34D's were spilling out of the top, and resting on them was a small diamond encrusted playboy bunny, hanging from a thing platinum chain. Her hair was done in a tight ponytail, her sideswept bangs sweeping across her brow, the ends of her blond ponytail curled.
Through the crowd of dancing teens Heather found Cede and up behind her, covering her eyes.
"Happy Birthday, sweetie!" She whispered this excitedly in her ear.

Olivia tapped her foot along the edge of the powdery snow. Patience wasn't a key asset in her genes. She had been waiting to get in to this party, for a while now. The traffic was terrible so Olivia had stupidly decided to walk ten blocks to arrive in a snow storm, waiting outside for fifteen minutes. Great, just great.
Finally they let her in trough the embellished doors, gushes of people were trying to get in to the party. Obvioulsy it was going to be a hit. That ws why itwas a hassle to get in, they had to check everybody, incase they weren't invited. As she stepped inside recieving a gust of warm air, her hair whipped around her face making it impossible to see where she was supposed to sit.
Olivia was outfitted in a champage colored Karanina claudette dress, it was a silk halter dress with V-neck line and crossover detail at the bust. Ruching at bodice and waist, the dress was perfect for Olivia's tall, thin frame. Her feet happened to end up in her new Au Lait satin Pedro Garcia vera platform pumps. With their frayed edges and stiletto heel, they went well with her dress, so she had decided on them over her four inch blahniks.
Makeup wasn't something Olivia usually wore, it was not a neccessity other then when she was modeling. Except for a touch of philosophy lip gloss and her Borjois Paris mascara she was good. That is why she didn't have much on tonight.
A sliver of gold shimmer lined her upper lids and a light silvery shadow was brushed evenly over it. With just that and a swipe of eyeliner and lipgloss she was good.
Her hair was cascading down in loose, golden curls to her mid-back. It was a bit more curly then usual, but it looked adorable against the color of the dress.
Olivia had obviously bought a present for Cede, the gift had been put in a simple black satin box with a white bow that tied around the front. Inside the box though was her gift. It had been picked out a while ago and Olivia hope Cede would like it. It was a white adam+eve shirt dress. A simple black bow is tied around the front and would look so good on Cede. Underneath the dress was a pair of little satin black undies. Lace was embellished along the sides and they were so cute. Defenitely a Mercedes type thing. Now, Olivia had expected to be seated at the A-List table. Mercedes and Olivia were real close. So when a wave of nasuea hit her when she realized she wasn't sitting at the table it was perfectly normal. What is going on? Scarlett and Heather were there, but not her? Olivia and Cede were best friends.
Olivia isn't the type ot hold back her feelings or lie to anyone about being happy. She almost tripped as she raced up to Cede to ask her what was going on.

Paris hugged Mercede back and smiled. "I wouldn't have miss this for anything. The place looks great."
He watched Mercede grab the drinks, and took the extra one. Taking a sip, he watched a few people start to migrate over to Cede. It was starting to get crowded and plus a lot of the people have known Cede longer then he has, so he let them have there time.
Before walking away he leaned over and left a sweet kiss on Cede's cheek. "I'll talk to you later." he said, before turning around and walking off with his drink in hand.
Looking at all the tables, he spotted one of the girls he met from the park. Kerstin, he think that was her name. It had to be. Yeah it was. He walked over to the table and sat across from her with a smile on his face. "Hello.' he said. It was simple.

Adrienne post.
She felt... short as he hugged her, and then she had to look up at him as he pulled back. This brought a half-smile to her lips, tugging at the corners. Not quite mischevious, more just a reflex. It couldn't be read into.
"Thank you--and yourself." He did look good, though in her book, Cameron always did. She had never exactly felt anything for him, they were just good friends. She wasn't after guys at the moment--just good fun.
But good fun usually involved guys.
She followed his eyes. "I know, no present, right? It's over there." She gestured with her hand towards the massive and growing pile of gifts. She wasn't able to pick out the medium-sized red box at all. "I'm not that rude." Her smile grew bigger.

A light breath had been expelled from Kerstin’s mouth as she finally gave up on her random glimpses around the lovely room. Cameron had already ditched her to talk to Scarlett, though she figured he’d be within the seat beside her shortly, it wasn’t as if Cameron could hold out a conversation. Pfft. Her arms lay atop the nicely clothed table, her fingers strumming it lightly. How stupid must she look here? Sure, she knew a few of the present guests, but none of them were so close to her. She was also sure that the ‘A-list’ girls thought of her as a dork, but she didn’t really deny the opinion, or...fact. She probably was.
Eyeballing the individual who had decided to join her, she smiled up at him, straightening her posture and offering a soft ‘hey’ in return. Oh, Paris, the boy she had met at Central park. What a babe. “Are you enjoying yourself?” she asked, the smile settling to its regular position. It was a reasonable question, right? Sure, she was just asking how he was going. Yeah, it’s good.

Paris watched as Kerstin's frown turned into a smile. In return he gave her a bigger smile then he had before. Aw.
Taking a sip of his drink he nodded his head to Kerstin's question. "Yeah I guess, how about you?"
ooc; shortness, sorry. writers block.

Anthony slipped the card into the bag that held the present and looked around for someone he knew. Which was, no one besides, the girls from the park. He wondered, for a moment if Zanna or Sawyer were here. But quickly looking around that thought was crushed. He sighed and looked around for a table to sit at, the only one that had another chair open was the one with Kerstin and Paris were sitting at, he walked over and stopped looking at them for a moment before gaining the nerve to talk. "Do you, mind if I sit here?"He asked softly. He wasn't one to talk loud to people.

Cameron took a look at what he was wearing. Nothing fancy, and certainly nothing to impress anyone, but then again, he wasn’t really /trying/ to impress anyone. Sure, there were a few girls that he had been attracted to, but just because they are sexy, hot, or cute, doesn’t exactly mean he likes them.
Cameron followed her hand as she pointed towards the stacked gifts. Shit, there were a lot. Cameron smiled and held up the two gifts within his holding. “I guess I should go put these over there too.” He stated, looking back at the gifts once more before returning his view to Adrienne. He was somewhat lazy, and though he said he should go put the gifts where the rest of them were, he didn’t move—not one muscle.

Kerstin shrugged lightly, turning her view away from Paris for a second. “It could be better, I guess, but I’m not going to complain.” She responded, looking back at him with a soft chuckle. There were so many good-looking guys here in New York, but gosh, why was it so hard to find the perfect one? Kerstin was, in fact, attracted to smart, sweet guys, but really, they needed to have the look to—and most of them had it down.
Crossing her legs at her knees, Kerstin glanced upward to see a familiar face looking down at her and Paris. “Yeah, sure.” She said, peering Paris’ way to see if he objected. Personally, she didn’t mind. She was never really the ‘mean’ one, but she loved getting what she wanted. She saw no harm, though, in Anthony sitting there, so, why not?

Shit.
That was the first word that came to mind as Zanna stepped into the club. There were going to be a lot of people and, chances were that she wouldn't know most--if any--of them. And the way they were dressed. The way she was dressed. Dresses. She couldn't believe she'd given in and worn a fricking dress. But at least she made it look...okay. Good enough. As good as she was getting anyway.
And if they didn't like it, screw them.
But anyway, back to the girl's attire for the night. The dress was short, it fell about to her knees or a little below. Yes, she knew, not actually considered that short to most, but to her who always wore jeans...it was. It was strapless, and the darkest black she could find. A thin line of green ran along the top hem and the bottom hem, and there was a whole bunch of green polka dots on the whole dress in an orderly pattern. She knew, it was nothing special; nothing like the dresses of the other girls, but she liked it. In fact, she might wear it again...someday. Somewhere. Eventually.
Her hair, having lately been growing at a faster rate than normal, would have hung into her eyes had she not had it pulled back with a rectangular--you guessed it--green barette. The makeup on Zanna's face was simple; a layer of black eyeliner around each eye, a light bit of mascara on her eyelashes and a smoky gray colored smudging shadow only up to the crease of her eyelid. Seriously, nothing special.
Held slung underneath her arm, Zanna had a small navy blue box with a plain black bow of lace tied around it. Inside was a $9500 Simon Gift card. The kind you can use anywhere. She knew that Cede probably had no problem spending that kind of money on her own, but it was good enough. Plus, she didn't know her well enough to get her something personal. Something that actually mattered.
Looking around, Zanna grimaced. Lots of people, most of which she didn't know. What was she doing here, again?

Nodding, and saying her Thank You’s to people who approached, Cede almost didn’t hear the words coming out of Paris’s mouth. Yummy. Birthday kisses. Mercedes watched him walk away, and then was greeted by James. Yummy times two.
“Hello, sweetness.” She greeted him with a quick hug, but the turned to see who was here next. Heather. And she…SHE DID IT! She was in full Playboy Bunny wear! Ohmiigish! “Heather?! OH MY GAWD! YOU DID IT!”
Mercedes was nearly jumping up and down, looking at her friend. They had planned it over the phone, and they were even going to change latter into something even cooler. Through the reaction she was giving to Heather, Mercedes and Olivia nearly collided with one another, as Olivia came up and said something about her table. What the hell was she talking about. Of course she was on it…right. Her and Heather had made the list, so she had to be on it.
“Sweetie, I bet it’s just a typo…” Out of the corner of her eye she watched Chris come in, and set down a gift, and Antony come in. A smile spread across her face she as waved to both of them.

Antony looked back at Madz wondering if she was gonna bother saying hey to everyone or just walk around to a few people. He smiled back at her when he saw her wave at him and waved at her motioning for her to come over. He had another gift for her, but she would have to come to his house another time to receive it. Because A. It was from his band. And B. It was from his band. And they hadn't been invited, and he REALLY didn't want to bring them wrapped in ribbon. Besides, he also just wanted to wish the Birthday Girl a happy birthday face to face and not Face to Card. What fun would that be? A card that doesn't relay the real emotion on the person's face and in their body structure? Not cool at all. It had to be face to face for Antony to like doing it.

Heather was pleased when she saw the reaction of her friend at her outfit. She had done it for her, so it was important that she approved.
"Of course I did it. What, did you think I would bail out on you?" She quickly hugged her friend and handed her the bag with her gift inside, "For you, biotch." She planted a quick kiss on her cheek.
The club was total chaos. It was total Mercedes fashion, completely crowded, and amazing.

Okay. So that was weird. Just being turned away from after a simple statement. It was definitely not something James, the girl-magnet, was used to. He was used to be fawned over, drooled over, and lots of other things that were in the same line. But not Cede.
He should have known that. She was, afterall, Cede Tritoni. But that's what James liked about the whole thing. She was a challenge, and he'd never been one to turn down a challenge. In fact, he tended to like them more. It was the whole 'It's not what you get, it's how you got there' sort of thing. He liked the chase. He loved the chase.
"I'm going to go set your gifts down," he informed her, turning away and walking toward the table loaded down with presents for the birthday girl. "I'll see you around." Leave them wanting more. That was his motto.
